I would never recommend to anyone to work for this company after the experience my spouse had…read moreworking there for 2 months during summer 2023. Quick recap: my spouse drove a water truck to various locations throughout the Petawawa area from May to 7 July 2023. The only truck they had available for him to use, was over 30 years old, had no air, and had small holes on the floor of the driver cabin. During the week of 4-6 July, we had a heat wave throughout most of eastern Ontario, making outdoor conditions at high risk for heat injuries for all residents. My man would go to work 1-2 hrs early everyday to try and beat the heat, but unfortunately after 6+ hrs in a truck with no air, driving over freshly paved roads and/or gravel roads with an outdoor temp over 35+ (not including humidity) he sustained heat exhaustion 3 days in a row during this heat wave. He was witness by his dispatcher (Karey) and other employees, in a distressed state and supported by these individuals to go home and manage his heat stress injuries. On 7 July, my spouse was called into a meeting by the company's health and safety rep: Philip, and terminated with the justification being that "he couldn't just leave work cause it's hot" I took the time to call the Ontario labour board and the Ontario health and safety office to confirm weather this would be considered wrongful dismissal and if my spouse had any kind of rights. I received a confirmation from both departments stating that this should be reported and that he had a case worth pursuing in court. After attempting to schedule a meeting with the health and safety rep in the hopes for some accountability from the employer as to the exposure they submitted my spouse too and to try and get his job back, all that came out of this man's mouth was complete denial that there had been any kind of safety concerns and that he was well within his rights to terminate employees at his will. After numerous other attempts to mitigate things and get my spouse's job back I have concluded the following: - this company has no regard to the health and safety of their employees as they are dispensable In other words - no integrity of any of the supervisors we delt with Phil(H&S rep)and Gerald (VP), demonstrated by using false claims, strait up lies and manipulation of statements from other employees to justify their actions - zero accountability that they have any responsibility with providing a safe and healthy work environment for their employees (cause working 6+ hrs in an average 60 degree environment with no water provided to him and only a 30 min break, which he missed almost everyday due to the run schedule he was provided, is considered sufficient) H&H should be ashamed of how they managed this situation. You done wrong boys.

Well after a week I called back and there was no indication my previous message had been kept so I again explained what I was looking for. Again I was told someone would be contacting me. After several hours I decided to call back and see what the situation was and at this time I was informed that when I was talking to them earlier in the day they did not hear what it was I needed due to poor phone connection (what a joke) and that because I had already purchased the items I was looking to have professionally installed that they would not help me. Apparently the individual I spoke with at the office, who was one of their actual workers and not the office staff, was either not aware of this or just failed to pass on my request. So in closing I have now wasted almost 2 weeks of my time waiting for someone to tell me they will either design a kitchen, manufacture it and install it (or you can have someone else install it as stated on their website, but they will not install anything that you do not purchase from or through them. If I could rate with negative "Stars" I would. I found I was misinformed and also this is very poor customer service. I will not recommend this business.

I never had completed any business with them before and only heard good reviews - they certainly lived up to everything I heard about the, We only had a simple countertop bathroom and kitchen job but I will be looking to do more business with them in the future.

Stay away from this company if you're looking to have a metal roof installed. They claim to have a…read morededicated crew for metal roofs but this is definitely not the case. They don't have a clue what they're doing. Job was quoted to take 2 days but turned out to be weeks, plus I had to get them to correct a bunch of issues before paying them. My roof leaked and damaged the inside of my house when they were in the process of tearing off the old roof - left my roof with a tarp over it during a big down-pour. Also tore off the old roof without having material on-site to actually start the installation. Six months later, my roof leaks again.
