Beyond his undeniable talent, Manolo's presence on our wedding day made such a difference. He's calm, funny, and genuinely wonderful to have around. He comes prepared, yet is always ready to pivot in the moment. Before hiring him, my biggest fear was spending the entire day taking photos and missing out on enjoying my wedding, or not capturing everything I wanted. Neither happened. Manolo works efficiently and fiercely. He guides brides in the lead-up to the wedding, and on the day itself he's simply incredible. I would recommend Manolo without hesitation. So you can imagine that with being out-of-state, it was sometimes a pain when it came to vendor hunting. Here is how V&J went above and beyond for us: + Before the day of our wedding, they went and scoped out our airbnb's location (it was near where they lived) for potential first-look locations outside the house + Were SO down-to-earth and easy to talk to! Very approachable and friendly :) + Traveled to 2 locations: airbnb (getting-ready site) and our ceremony/reception venue + I don't think I saw them eat a single thing the entire time -- they starved right along with us, the bride and groom - LOL + We had contracted them from 2-9p, and when we asked if we could extend an addtl hour for more photos, they had one of their photographers stay back to keep up with the party :D The teasers/photos have been gorgeous, and all I'm waiting for now are the last set of videos. :) This was their timeline for those interested (for our photos/videos). I'm sure your mileage may vary depending on how busy they are! + Highlight photos: 45ish days + Teaser video: 45-60 days + All photos: 60-75 days + Highlight videos (speeches, etc): 12-16 weeks We unfortunately did not get to do an engagement shoot with them or post-wedding shoot since we're now based out of TX. BUT, we would hire them again in a heartbeat for anything else whenever we're back in SoFlo. :)

We married at the Oceanside and neither she (or her assistant) captured a wide angle of the whole ceremony with people seated and us standing by the wedding arch, with the ocean in the background. Nonetheless, she provided us over 2000 selected and edited images of the process from first look, family photos, ceremony and the reception and we were pleased with the results.

It has been some time since our wedding and I think back to that time where we were planning and meeting with different groups, honestly we didn't know what to do. In meeting with Patrick and Jesse they were able to guide us and make suggestions that would help us in our decision. When we first looked around and met with different videographers we can tell why people may have been unhappy with them, but when we met with Patrick and Jesse it was the opposite. We had set expectations with them both and they insured us that we would not be disappointed. I am not an easy person to deal with and the responsiveness and professionalism they had given us was exceptional. Since our wedding I have recommended them for every type of project to friends and family and even people I may have just met and I do this because I have the upmost confidence that they would approach it with the same great attitude they do all their other projects. For my wedding video itself what can I say other than it is amazing! The final product given to us was perfectly edited, captured moments that my wife and I even though we were there and involved with the party, did not notice and appreciate whole heartily. When we watch our video it looks like we are watching a movie and I get emotional seeing my beautiful wife, my precious daughter and my friends and family enjoying themselves.
