We will acknowledge that we should have read the fine print to clarify this with him, but we trusted that he would honor the rate on his net sheet. We attempted to contact him multiple times after an email where he called me by the wrong name, despite multiple communications, both through text and email. My husband sent a detailed email outlining our concerns and asking for clarification regarding the discrepencies in the commission rate. Mr. Brautigam never responded to this initial email or the followup email sent by my husband. He responded a day later through text stating that he was selling homes in Evergreen and had just seen the email from my husband outlining our concerns. My husband asked him to call, giving a specific timeframe when he would be available. Mr. Brautigam never called. My husband texted him later that evening, stating that we wanted to terminate our agreement with him and asked for the termination paperwork. Mr. Brautigam responded, stating that he would be by the following day to pick up the sign in our yard, which we had to ask repeatedly for him to place. He never addressed our concerns. He did not take the time to focus on our listing, did not actively market the listing, and now we have had to delist our property in order to find a more suitable agent. The market is voliatle and Mr. Brautigam's lack of attention to detail and complete lack of focus on the client's best interest has disrputed our home selling process in a very negative way. This has been one of the worst experiences we have had with a business in Colorado.
