If you're in North County and need a cut, LT is your guy. I've been going to him for several years now and would keep going to him even if I moved out of the area. LT knows what he's doing. I've never left not satisfied and completely happy with my cut. read more

I took my son there to get a fade. He is young so he was a little nervous but excited. Art helped us at the front door and quickly got started with his fade. He did a great job and it was a quality haircut. I will be going back and seeing Art again. Thank you. read more

I was there on 8/27/23 and got a TERRIBLE haircut from Art Serrano. I showed him a photo of what I wanted, he acknowledged the style and said he could do it (undercut style), but instead I got a skinhead cut. The guy was using his clippers near my temple for so long that it started to irritate and cause pain to my scalp, so I told him to stop. He then said a stupid remark along the lines of "will it hurt if I use my brush to clean you up?" I asked the barber how long he's been cutting hair for and replied "three years," but based on the end result and his attention to detail, he probably recently graduated from beauty school or never finished. I should've checked his credentials. Also, the music in their establishment was way too loud and made it hard when trying to understand when I was spoken to. read more

LT is Badass barber with a unique style . He is very detailed with a lite hand. I been going to him 4yrs. I always let him freestyle his cutz. I'm always happy when I leave his shop. read more

Been exclusively using LT for years. Black men have very limited options for Haircuts and if you are from LA like I am, you know San Diego doesn't supply much to us. LT is an actual artist, he takes pride in what he does and as a result he cuts myself, my brother, my son and any black men I know. Run, don't walk, to his new location in Valley Parkway. It's a very good sized shop inside a beauty supply store and he has Braiders for ladies to get their hair twisted like my Daughter. read more

LT and his crew are the real deal. Timely, talented, and down to earth. As someone who has always been picky about who cuts his hair, I'm glad I found someone who gives phenomenal service and crisp cuts every single time! I HIGHLY recommend him!! read more

Art is an absolute artist with the clippers and also one of the nicest guys I've ever met. This is the first time that i ever attempted to grow a beard I have always been skeptical, so I asked for his honesty he said with a little trimming & finesse he could make me a new man, I'm so happy I stopped by I definitely recommend him, I'm looking forward to my next haircut & beard trim, thanks again read more

No, website says they are open until 9pm. I wanted to verify and called since their website stated on Monday's only active duty military can get a cut for $25. I tried to schedule but he told me he was leaving after the cut at 4:30pm. You would think that offering a discount and knowing a lot of cuts would happen in Monday in wouldn't be turned away. By lo and behold they can't live up to the posted discount and demand. **update** they called me back shortly after I posed the comment and offered an explanation as to why they were closing early. I recommend calling before making an appointment online due to limited barbers and life events can happen. Upgraded 1 star to 3 stars. read more

Walked in and was attended to immediately. Taylor listened to my request - line up and clean - before doing anything. He explained the length of guide he used. Super friendly - Art too! There is a woman stylist on site doing locking. What a great find!!! read more

This new barber shop is just what Escondido needed, my boys are brown and of black ethnicity. And unfortunately not all barbers have completed knowledge of how to cut and style people of color. But they not only do black cuts but all textures and types of hair which puts them a cut above the rest. And there is also a braider in the shop too, both have been needed in Escondido for awhile especially since Escondido had been attracting people of color for awhile. So they are long over due. We need barbers who have experience in black and brown hair care and needs. This hidden jem is in the back of Peoples Beauty Supply, very neat and nice lay out. And both the barber and braider are willing and skilled in the in hair care for the families, which has been needed here. Give them a visit and let everyone know about this hidden jem. And give them a chance to take care of you. Please Call 1(760)651-2585 and let the, both take care of you. Located in the Big Lots and Ross shopping center. read more
