He is really great at helping you with addressing any current pain and also discussing your options for targeting the causes of that pain. He has worked with me to figure out a treatment plan that will work within my budget (I'm a student) and that has been fantastic. I actually look forward to the visits. He is always prompt and he explains things as he goes. He's very sensitive to my preferences and always makes me feel comfortable. There are a lot of chiropractors in this town, but I'm glad I found this guy!

Because of football & hockey activities in my early years my back took a bit of a beating -…read moreespecially football - everybody wants to kill the quarterback! My back would go out about every 3 months. It would typically start by my leaning to one side and progress to the point where it would be difficult to get out of bed. A visit to the chiropractor would get me back in place but 3 months later I'd be back. I was told that eventually I may have to have back surgery to correct the problem. I was introduced to Dr. Souvestre who told me that he was confident that he could correct the issue of why my back was going out. I have not been to a chiropractor in about 8 years now! While at the clinic on a few occasions I have witnessed people having a life again after Western medicine medicine (AND Doctors) failed them

Although expensive, the first assessments and appointments made me feel really good. He made me feel like I was going to recover from long term concussion symptoms and get back to all of my activities in no time. 4 months and $35 000 (yes, you read that right) later I had improved (I don't know if due to the actual treatment, placebo effect, or his positive encouragement making me feel hopeful) but I was nowhere close to returning to life as I used to know it. After meeting a couple of people who had seen him for different issues, we realized that we all underwent the exact same treatment which consists of wearing insoles, wearing ear pins, and getting acupuncture 3 times a week (it sounds crazy, but he sure sells his product very well). When I asked him how exactly this treatment would fix the specific problems that I had, he would give me very long answers with medical jargon that I tended to just nod along to (as I'm sure the average person would as well). A link seems to be missing at Neurokinetics. Dr. Souvestre's assessments are very thorough, however I never understood how a one-size-fits-all kind of treatment is supposed to make everyone feel better. I know that I never achieved what I was promised in terms of recovery and neither did the two other people that I know who went there. If I could, I definitely would ask for most of my money back. Also - the Neurokinetics website states it is BBB accredited, but the BBB website states that the clinic is not accredited....... weird? Again, missing links.

Bottom line I unknowingly ended up with a diabetic ulcer, My primary doctor didn't know what is was and neither did my podiatrist Dr Larson who I won't be going back to. I ended up in the ER and hospital for 9 days. Dr McAllister and hospital had his staff saved my toe, foot and leg. Lessons learned for me. Check my feet every day and wear the right shoes. Nursing and Desk Staff were generally good. They helped by accommodating my special needs due to…read moresound hypersensitivity. However, the medical staff have been unhelpful in guiding me. I have been there 3 times for non-healing post surgical scalp lesions. The first time, a few years ago, I was dismissed by nursing and did not even get to see the Dr. I resisted going back but I have had about 12 appointments with different practitioners. Many of them told me to back to the Wound Care Clininc. I finally did. The second Dr. did listen a bit better but after looking at one of the lesions for 3 seconds declared it "Healed" without regard for my feedback (Pain and Drainage). The other he referred me to a Infectious Disease Dr in spite of the fact that there is minimal skull pain compared with a couple of years ago... The Dr today kept interrupting me with dismissive opinions. Even though I have been to a Neurosurgeon about this more than 3 times, he said "go see him again". This is not the place for you... But no rationale as to why. Maybe too many details but overall, I felt they were dismissive every time... I was an RN for 25 years and my policy was to "LISTEN" to my patients. The medical (and some nursing) staff did not.
