This weekend I finally got annoyed enough with my brows to schedule a wax. I made an appointment at Venus based on all the good reviews. I was able to schedule my appointment online which was very easy and great for an introvert. The morning of the appointment my fur baby was sick, so I cancelled my wax appointment an hour beforehand. They rescheduled me for an afternoon appointment the same day - lifesavers! Nicole did my brow wax and shape. She is super friendly and did a wonderful job. My brows look great! She trimmed, waxed, and then plucked. Others tell me that my brows don't need to be shaped or waxed, and it is easy to overdo it. Nicole took care of all the stray hairs, kept a beautiful shape, and they look very natural. I will tell everyone to come here for a wax. The spa and salon look nice and clean. It's a very cute atmosphere. I will probably schedule a massage here in the coming months.

When I arrived, I only waited a few minutes before being taken back by my stylist, Tasha. I had come prepared with a few pictures of the cut that I wanted and Tasha did a good style consult, even asking how much time I usually put into doing my hair, if I flat iron, and what products and color I use. Tasha was very friendly and upbeat. We had an easy and constant conversation. When Tasha was done, she asked if I liked the cut, and did some extra shaping on the back where I was concerned about the way it was laying. After I was satisfied, she even went so far as to say that if I still wanted it shorter after I washed it the next day, to just walk in and she would do it, no charge. Overall, great experience.
