However, I simply asked Christine to help me respond to the IRS to verify that the one jackpot ($2,000) was correctly reported on the return she filed. Helping me with this would have reduced the final bill and proven her work was accurate in that one instance. The owner refused to help in any way, stating that my taxes are no longer her responsibility. This is not only frustrating but completely unethical. If you make a mistake on a client's return, you have a responsibility to help them fix it, especially when they paid you for a professional service. In my experience, ADP has been nothing but problems and if Las Vegas Bookkeeping were able to offer other options for payroll it would make the client experience even better. I sent all of those to her never heard anything back from her which as a potential Client ghosting somebody after they just gave bank statements then ghost them is not a good feeling.
