Meet the Manager: Alton H.
Alton Harding is the founder and president of Hands for Africa. While Alton was born in Manhattan, New York, he attended junior high and high school in Sierra Leone. Alton studied international relations and economics at California State University, Long Beach, and he credits his strong Christian upbringing for his discipline. By the age of 20, Alton became the youngest diamond pin and 200 sales club winner in the Encyclopedia Britannica company's 200-year history. He then worked as an account manager at AT&T, where he won numerous awards and accolades as one of the top account managers in the company. Alton became a business owner soon after his AT&T tenure and owned a successful banquet/restaurant in North Los Angeles. Today, he is the owner of a real estate development firm in Orange County. Alton has been involved in many charitable organizations that have inspired him to develop Hands for Africa to provide support for the victims of war atrocities in Africa.
