Savio was so down to earth while I was so stressed out about my tax issue. I have a farm and the IRS said I owed $150k because I was unfiled. Savio was able to remind me that the IRS is a debt collector and he said that they were going to put my case on hold with the IRS to give me time to get my taxes filed. He even said it would bring my tax obligation down if I file with my deductions. read more

This company is an absolute fraud. They will collect your money (in my case $5950.00), to help resolve tax issues. After approximately one year, they started sending my letters requesting paperwork that they had their accountant (Charity Adams) complete. I received letters from Kathleen Morton saying they were going to drop me as a client if they didn't receive the paperwork within 14 days. After numerous phone calls and e-mails, that were totally ignored, I was able to speak to someone in the office name Diamond....she assured me she would have a supervisor return my call, and again, no calls no e-mails. On Sept 20, 2025 I sent them a letter demanding a refund because they failed to provide services that I had paid for. I received a letter from them stating they would pay me back 1/3 of the money if I signed a letter and agreed not to talk to anyone on social media or other platforms to attempt to prevent others from using their service. read more

SCAM! Don't fall for their scam! They will promise you won't have to pay . They promise you the world! Cost me over $6,000.00 for them to file my taxes for one year! What it would cost me 150-300 elsewhere ! They did nothing for me! Set up a sumner plan with the state that I could have done! Waste of time and waste of money! These people should jump off a cliff they are a bane to society ! COMPLETE SCAM read more

I WISH I would have read more into this company before we hired them back in September. They are not even worthy of ONE star! We were STRUNG along for MONTH after making hefty monthly payments. Erin Harryman is a JOKE. We kept saying we are getting letters from State and should be do anything while you are working our case. That is just ONE issue. I called out state to find out she had not been in contract with anyone for THREE MONTHS, and now we are being garnished which is what they said would not happen. We filed with BBB and the FTC for our money back, nothing yet but I hope because they COST us money vs saving us one penny. Stay clear! read more

Absolute scam. I have never contacted this company and yet I am receiving daily phone calls from AI saying something about my "tax debt" which doesn't exist. My guess is they are trying to scam people using scary language and tactics to get people to sign up for contracts that, based on most of the other reviews, don't end up doing anything but syphoning money out of your bank account and into theirs. read more

Do not use this company! What they sell is not what they promise! They took auto payments out with the promise that a person would be assigned to our case and would help us with tax relief and making sure we do not owe in 2026. Silence until I made a calendar appointment for a phone call. The person assigned mumbled into the phone that we don't qualify. They told us to stop making any payments and interest and penalties would not accrue. None of that is true. We are getting letter after letter from State and Federal. I tried to cancel my auto payment and they won't let me through the special financing. I want to be reimbursed and done with Tax Defense except I cannot get ahold of anyone. I have been promised a manager will call when a manager gets in. This company is a huge rip off. They do nothing for you. I will be calling my bank to stop payments as I cannot get ahold of anyone. read more

I would not recommend working with Tax Defense Network. Communication was terrible from the start -- they rarely answered my questions and often came across as rude or dismissive. What the salesperson promised and what I actually received were two completely different things. Nicole and Jennifer, the tax consultants assigned to my case, were unhelpful and hard to reach. They did not provide clear updates or follow through on what they said they would do. In the end, I feel like I just threw my money away. There was no real progress made on my case and no value for what I paid. If you're considering using this company, be very cautious and make sure you get everything in writing before agreeing to anything. read more

Tax Defense Network/Moneysolvers must be a scam. Be careful. I started the tax process with them in Jan 2026 and they immediately took $250 from me. I decided to not continue with them and started contacting people in mid-February to close my case and was assured this would happen. But they keep taking $200 out of my account. Now they have taken $650 from me and have not closed the case, nor have they proceeded with a case! The people I keep getting contact info for are in Florida. This is a scam! read more

Nothing was done on my behalf with the IRS and I was given hope thinking that I could just wait and let things work out. The minute I had concerns and realized nothing was being done I asked an actual attorney about this and was told that I was wasting my money and that for the amount I owed I should just be paying the IRS. So I called the IRS and got a payment plan that was half of what they were charging. And I was told not to contact them. I'm glad I did and I have filed a complaint with the BBB to try to get a refund as they are giving me the runaround. this company does not act in good fait, does not communicate and seems to be quick with taking money and slow with providing service. When I think of how desperate I was all I can say is shame on you! read more

They come on strong, get you to sign an agreement, get your money then you can never get a hold of them. You have no idea what they are doing to help you. We received levies from the IRS. 4 years trying to work with this company. Many different tax guys and advisors throughout the years. Charged me over 9,000 for this service in which we got nothing in return except a large tax bill. With a large tax bill looming, I contacted Tax Defense Network for assistance. They led me to believe they could save me thousands. In the end they saved me $746.00 and want to charge me $7950.00 for their services. DO NOT TRUST or USE THESE PEOPLE. read more

I was thinking of having them do or file some back returns for me. The scoundrel on the phone said everything would be done. They did nothing. These guys are crooks charlatans crooks nothing was done. And now they say, I owe a bunch of money. There reviews say it all . If you look most of their reviews are on their website so their fabricated yelp doesn't put fake reviews on. They have a algorithm most of the time they'll catch it. What began as a promising sales pitch in the website's initial callback conversation with the company in FL has become an unacceptable communication endeavor with the outsourced "tax professional." She waited past the final hour to let us know THEY had the wrong first digit for the taxpayer ID. She insisted the FL office did not include the L11 form in our file, and she needed me to resend it to her. I did at 8:52 am on 05/21/2025. She previously had made the excuse that she was waiting for the IRS to approve the POAs they had sent in. She again said she was sending (calling) it in right then. If there was a problem with the POA forms, we should have been notified immediately, not the day before the deadline, (May 22, 2025). Once again, in her email to me on May 21, 2025, at 5:47 pm she insisted that she needed to confirm my husband's name and SS# so she could call the IRS with the POA information. The confirmation of name and SS#, the LT-*- form had been texted, called in, and emailed to her by both my husband and me multiple times. The SS# was given to the original representative from FL on a recorded conversation that my husband and I were both part of. The digits were clearly given and repeated back, then confirmed. I confronted the "tax professional" from Cedar Falls, VA regarding the frustration and she answered with "Stop this, or I will block you. I now deal with your husband only." They charged $6800 (so far). If it were up to me only, I would get the initial down payment of $680 back and cancel the subsequent monthly payments. She has become a real source of chaos by placing the blame everywhere but on herself and has tried to pull off the "You have to listen to me because I am trying to help you" effect. If my husband wants to keep her, I at least want her to get things done, not give updated excuses about why she is PAST THE DEADLINE for doing what we are being charged so heavily for. read more

I only give one star because I can't give zero here. This group are a bunch of scam artists. Beware! I owed taxed from 2018-did not know it until the IRS kept sending me letters. The guy on the other end of the phone said, yes, we can get all the interest down and help you. I made three payments. They did nothing! I not only owed them, but the IRS the same amount. The female I was working with treated me with disrespect. She stated I am working hard for you, and you are not impoverished. Is that a requirement? Now they are calling me non stop. They even use numbers that are local to call . One woman stated "we are not going to stop calling you, we completed our service. NO, they did nothing for me, nothing. Buyer Beware-apparently should have dug deeper before I called and looked at these Reviews... Called Tax Relief Center when I googled Tax Relief and their number came up as 888-998-2513 on their Website. So I called and a young man asked some prequalifying questions than turned my call over to a Jerry who I was getting a bad vibe from so I ended the call. He called me back and I explained that I did not want his assistance. He proceeded to laugh at me and hung up!! I went back on their Website and found a number at the bottom of the page that states " IF YOU PREFER TO SPEAK TO A PROFESSIONAL OVER THE PHONE CALL 877-721-5608, and so I did thinking it was the same company, just a different phone number. The Lady that answered the phone said the Company name was Tax Defense Network and I was stunned. I asked her why their number was on the Tax Relief Center's Website, with 2 different numbers listed. She could not answer that, even after I asked her to go in and google their website so she could see what I was talking about. Tried to explain she is not allowed to go on the computer to look and that was a tech dept problem. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY-ITS A SCAM!!!! read more

Hired the Tax Defense Network (TDN) in February 2024 to address my tax concerns at a cost of $4000. After five months, their Tax Professional, who turned out to be an out of state contractor with no oversight, contacted me and charged me an additional $600. The IRS flagged the returns he submitted as containing "accounting errors" so I contact him, and he tells me that his unlicensed secretary does the returns, and then he reviews them before submission. That he didn't see this one, and that he'd do it over. Then he contacted me again saying that he lost my original paperwork, and that he needed me to send another copy. This paperwork contained all my personal information and all my banking information and became an Identity Theft concern as no one at TDN knew who worked in this contractor's office, and my credit score dropped significantly for no reason. After six months of no activity regarding my tax documents, the IRS began the Levy process. I notified the TDN of this, and they fired that contractor and assigned another, who reviewed my case and immediately quit. Then they assigned another, who also immediately quit. We are now on contractor number four. When my credit score took a hit, I requested that my original documents that the first contractor still had possession of, be returned to me, and after weeks and weeks of excuses, and no compliance, I requested a termination of contract and full refund from TDN. They have now gone silent and refuse to respond, or refund my money. At no point in this process have the managers ever apologized or taken responsibility for their gross negligence. We have been given nothing but delays and excuses for months, and now they have gone completely silent. How is this legal behavior, from a licensed Tax Professional Services company, acceptable? read more

I received a response to my initial message stating how unhappy I was with their service. I was asked to call a number and speak with a person in management. I called as requested and had to leave a voicemail. This was on 12/1. There was no response. I called again on 12/5, again had to leave a voicemail because no one was available to take my call. This company's general rule is to reply within 24-48 hours. it's been 4 days. Wonder why I gave the poor rating?! read more

I agree with the other reviewers. This company did not work to get us into a more comfortable tax payment to the IRS which is what we were told was going to happen. Unfortunately, when you find yourself in the middle class tax bracket, the IRS finds you bankable and will come after you because they do not care if you have food in your fridge or a roof over your head as long as they get their over inflated payments. These people don't tell you that though, and they don't say that they are just going to set up payment arrangements for you which you can do yourself. This company promises that they can help, take your money and don't do as promised. After they didn't even break a sweat to help us, we insisted they do our taxes so that at least we didn't have to hire someone else and spend more money. This was agreed to a month before the filing date, but we couldn't get anyone to help us until the Saturday before the deadline. Afterwards, I sent email after email asking if they had filed anything and why we hadn't seen any paperwork. No one answered until today when I told them I was done waiting. Our "Case Manager" just ignored my request for a 3rd time to have them answer a direct question, but she told me to have a great weekend and that she was leaving the office for the day though, so there is that. A word to the wise... DO THIS YOURSELF AND GET EQUAL RESULTS, so that the money you would be paying the "tax attorney" can go toward your tax debt and possibly actually help you. read more

I reached out to Tax Defense Network 2 years ago about federal back taxes owed in California. After 2 years a few days ago I get a text from Omar with a screenshot of my tax letter that I have until December 25 to resolve this matter. I have not heard from anyone in months. I called Sara Snavely left voicemail and called the customer service number to get in contact with her no calls. I called today and she finally answered and tells me if you need us to talk to the IRS is going to cost you $1000. Wow, this is the reason Sara and her team sent me that screenshot a few days ago. My deadline is on December 25, 2023. Don't waste your money on this company. They really don't help you. From the beginning I was the one doing all the work. I got this service to help me not put me in a worse situation. This company shouldn't be in business. Sara and her whole team and company are useless people who call themselves professionals. I could have paid the money I spend on Tax Defense Network to the IRS because they were super expensive and they didn't do nothing for me. Please people don't use this company 2 years from now you will be in my shoes if you use them to help you. Christina, honestly your reply is not accurate information. This business didn't help me like you promised you would. It was a waste of money and you guys promised to come to an agreement with the IRS and it didn't happen. It's been 2 years correct and nothing that you guys did helped me at all. This is the reason this company has so many bad reviews because of customers like me that you guys take advantage of. Waste of money in the two years, you guys never reach out to me to update me on my case. The only time you guys reach out to me was to ask me for more money. Your team texted me confidential information to my phone imagine if l didn't have the same number since it's been two years you would be sharing all my confidential information. You guys need to go out of business. read more

Save yourself thousands of dollars and hire a local attorney! Just like EVERY other review that is listed on here, this place is a SCAM! This company takes a few thousands dollars from you and then recommends a local attorney who will charge you separately! Tax Defense Network / Money Solver is one of the biggest scams out there. They take your initial thousands of dollars in down payment only to recommend a local attorney who will charge you separately to deal with the IRS. This company does not do anything to help you get out of your IRS issues. In addition to the scam, they setup an additional monthly service and charge you a monthly fee for credit monitoring service. Not very helpful. They turn your case over to an independent contractor so their people don't even work on your issues. All they did for me was consolidate all the money I owed to the IRS and work out a payment plan. YOU CAN DO THAT DIRECTLY WITH THE IRS YOURSELF !! For me it was a total waste of time and money and I didn't feel like they gave a damn about my case after I forked over the money. The independent agent was more concerned about talking to me about a home loan than solving my tax problem. I learned a great deal here. read more

Tax Defense Network did not help me at all. We ended with an agreement of $105 a month (which I already Had) and still owing the whole balance of $7206.91. At this time we can not make these payments especially while we are still paying the balance to Tax Defense Network. I will not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I used this firm last year to help me with my IRS tax situation and they started of saying they could help me elevate some of my tax burden. So I said great, I took our a loan for $4350 to pay for their services which was suppose to take only two or three months. After paying them this money I was kind of pushed off to the side so to speak and told them this process is not going to my liking. It took them 8 1/2 months to just get me a resolution with the IRS, instead of eliminating some of our IRS debt. I would not recommend these people to anyone for Income Tax help with IRS Debt. I am still making payments on the loan I took out to pay TDN. I now have a huge tax lien on my credit an will not be able to buy a home or car or rent an apartment. Just saying! read more
