It has a wide range of fiction and non fiction books, for reference, and pleasure reading. There is an excellent children's library with soft comfortable seating, and a superb selection of books for all ages. During the summer holidays, there are often challenges run which encourage children to read 6 books and then get a certificate etc. CDs, DVDs and console games are available to rent for a small charge, and there is a quick drop off point for those that just want to drop in their books without renewing or paying a fine for being late! Internet access is available to all, within guidelines, upon application to the main desk. This is an excellent facility that is well used by the people of Norwich.

I do read ebooks on my iPad but I also make the effort to go to the library to pick up a 'normal' book - there is nothing quite like it. Did I say the staff are lovely?

A small but well stocked library, with plenty of up to date novels, quick reads, audiotapes, videos…read moreto hire etc. The staff are extremely helpful, and will always order in any books you require if needed. They can also renew books over the phone if required.There is wheelchair access and plenty of parking. It is next to Breckland park if you want to exercise the dogs/ children afterwards.The books are all sorted into helpful categories, such as new titles, romance, crime etc. There is internet access, and also children can often go to specially arranged story telling sessions.
