Taunusturm is a newly built office tower in Frankfurt which has been completed in 2014, whose owners are real-estate firms Tishman Speyer and Commerz Real AG. It has been up for sale this year for at least 500 Million Euros to reach out for international investors.
Inside this tower are happening well-organized meetings and seminars for international business purposes such as seminars about Turkish laws and German-African business network meetings. Besides, Swiss bank Credit Suisse is going to move into this building soon.
It also houses the MMK2 on the 2nd floor (second location of the Frankfurt Museum of Modern Art), which is now closed until the next exhibition in mid-July. Since the MMK2 is an art museum, it doesn't pay for rent and miscellaneous expenses but do charge for entrance.
The tower building itself is highly modern and is supposed to be highly space efficient with its 2000 square-meters but rather mediocre in height (40 floors) and design (boring).
You will be able to enter this building from the Taunusanlage park areal and pass by it by driving through the traffic at the Willi-Brandt-Platz. read more
