To put it in perspective I had been going to him for 15 years. I was truly skeptical so I compiled a list of local ones and called the first one on my list: Shelbyville Medical Center. The list can go on and on. I feel like he takes good care of me. The people who work in his practice have always been so helpful to me. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better chiropractor.

Dr Rita Steffey is nice, casual, approachable, easy to talk to, and makes going to the chiropractor…read moreseem like dropping by a friends house, more than going to a doctor's office for an adjustment. Her staff is also kind, courteous, and all are very professional. They have computer mapping of your feet to help determine some things that may need corrected as well as an in depth analyses of how you stand, posture, weight balance, shoulder evenness, and much more. The first visit was probably 60-90 minutes, then each follow up visit / spinal adjustment only takes about 15 minutes, unless you lay on the spine-a-lator machine that deeply applies pressure up and down across your spine for about 20 minutes. This is adjustable by Dr Rita or staff and feels relaxing and great once done. I highly recommend Dr Rita Steffey for anyone needing chiropractic services. They have great plans for cash only patients, and also accept most insurances.

Some things we enjoy is that she offers package discounts, has an online scheduling system, and sees patients of all ages. My son got his first adjustment by her at one month old! She also saw my dog immediately after he had an injury & helped him avoid surgery. In addition to chiropractic, she also does functional medicine as well.
