Horrible apartment complex. I would not recommend this place to anyone…read more My husband and I were under a time constraint and picked this place in a day. Big mistake! The appliances are broken and out dated, there aren't any overhead lights in the living room or bedrooms, no disposal, even though there is a breaker and switch for one, toilets usually take two flushes to work, closet in the master bedroom is not functional, rusty hardware on bathroom doors, if you are taking a shower you need to make sure nobody else touches the water anywhere else in the apartment or you'll get blasted with cold water, lots of previous water damage on the ceiling in several rooms and around bathroom sinks. I've also killed roaches in the apartment. Water came in master bedroom today and carpet was wet. We were told it was due to mulch build up. We were told to put towels on the carpet and when someone could get around to it, they would check for mold, and when it dries out they will fix the mulch. Stay clear of this place.

I loved the neighborhood bc it was quiet safe but the downside of everything was the house was very old to the point doors started falling off the hinges bc the wood couldn't support the screws the hot water only had one temperature so warm u don't need cold water to shower and the cold water was always warm unless you taking a shower. The landlord that go by Mr willie is not the landlord his son owns multiple properties in Rocky Mount and it's the same treatment to other tenants. They will not replace with new materials they take all the short cut's around the main issues in my case,just to move u in for the rent money, that was never late and always on time you would hope that a landlord's would take pride in his investments bad enough my former neighbor who had lived next to me since I moved in that house is senior citizen who loves doing yard work so much he maintained my yard and the other2 apartment yards next door to me.Neither the landlord or coopers and associates would pay him or even acknowledge his Free heart and landscaping skills to help their brand look acceptable on the outside the inside is a gotta story older than my grandfather.I loved the house a lot but the house was deteriorating day to day. There was no ventilation we used ac window units to keep da house cool and space heaters to stay warm we had baseboard heaters that ran our light bills up to thousands of dollars during winter. Rent was only $550 a month for a two bedroom 1br house attached to two apartments to the right of my house. It hit different when From October to March my light bill was always higher than my rent Coopers and associates gets a huge Fuckin F for failure to hold the landlords accountable for not giving a flying fucx.now I'm spending $150 more in rent for a place that accommodates my maintenance,safety, also fresh brand new everything Imma miss the old place but the new apartment environment brings fresher ways of not settling with slumlords who only wants u to pay dat rent bruhh.
