I had the honor of attending a wedding at Tatra receptions and it was an amazing day. Tatra was the perfect choice for this wedding with spectacular garden views. ***Congratulations to Nick and Stephanie Jones *** *HIGHLIGHTS: -The chapel was lovely and very intimate. It was perfect for a wedding ceremony with a stage that allowed guests to see what was happening up the front without having to strain their necks to see over other people's heads -The garden area was a lovely place to enjoy pre drinks and canapes before being seated in the reception, The garden had a little bar tucked away within the garden itself which added some charm to the area -The Grand ball room was very well layed out fitting up to 130 guests seated. The dance floor was the perfect size and the food served was exceptional Sarah the event manager was amazing. She managed to be in 5 different places at once and was very organised. She was able to predict the needs of the bride and groom and the guest and did an amazing job of running the whole day/evening. * SOME LOW LIGHTS - I was able to take many photos of the wedding ceremony as the chapel had some beams on the side which were in the way of the stage ( It wasn't really that bad I just love taking photos and couldn't because of these beams which was really disappointing) *TIPS: - When heading to Tatra the Tom Tom/Navman will tell you to take 'old coach road': DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD. Its a one lane steep dirt tack that is very narrow and close to the cliff side. Locals use this road to take short cuts and its very scary when you do not know the roads and there is traffic using the same road in the opposite direction. There is not much room to pull over and dependant on the side of the road you era on if you are pulled over and open the door you literally open the door over the edge of he cliff face - BRING INSECT REPELLENT: I was bitten my mosquito's which was not a very pleasant experience - If you are travelling a long way consider booking a room and Tatra and staying the night. Accommodation is beautiful here, clean, modern and very well serviced with massive showers and comfy beds read more

My brother had his wedding at Tatra Receptions in Melbourne recently. I just wanted to say that the venue and location is really beautiful (although naturally pretty cold outside in the middle of winter!). The staff, particularly Sarah (the event manager), were really helpful, and the event went really smoothly. The food was delicious, good serving sizes, and able to cater for special needs (gf, vegan etc). Highly recommended. read more

My husband and I attended a wedding at Tatra this weekend; the wedding itself was absolutely lovely. We also booked a room for the night at Tatra, and have to say we were disappointed with our room. The bed was creaky, there was a strange smell in the corner of the room, there were a set of used false eyelashes left in the bathroom sink and above the toilet were left a couple of beer bottle tops and used/dirty makeup remover wipes! read more

I had my wedding at Tatra and cannot recommend them highly enough. From my initial enquiry to planning the day all the staff were so helpful and friendly they made the whole planning experience really present. We got to do a food tasting a few months before the wedding and this was so helpful in choosing our menu. The food was amazing and the portions are huge, all our guests were raving about the food, which was a big bonus as food is very important to my culture. The ceremony areas are just breathtaking. We had our ceremony in the garden as it was a nice sunny day, but the chapel is equally beautiful and would have loved to get married in this area also =) The gardens are huge and we got all our wedding photos taken here and everybody who sees my photos comments on the beautiful location. The Function manager was AMAZING! She was so helpful and made sure the day ran smoothly and was always around when we needed her. We also staying in the accommodation after the wedding which was perfect, so convenient and in such a nice setting. Overall we had the best day of our life and I have noting but rave reviews for this venue. Highly recommended! read more

From the first time I Saw this place, I knew I had to get married here. Absolutely stunning. The gardens are amazing and the chapel is gorgeous andd intimate. I wanted an outdoor wedding but it rained a bit in the morning so it happened in the chapel.. but oh it was amazing. The photos are breathtaking. Truly the stuff of fairytales! read more
