Our 1st night in Paris we found this hole in wall amazing restaurant.
We had just checked into our hotel and after 2 long train rides and taxi ride we were hungry but just didn't feel like walking long ways to get something to eat.
Luckily the restaurant was in hotel's guide for food, and it was just a less then 2 minutes away from the Hotel.
It is a very small restaurant with very limited seating but we just getting take out, my son and I don't speak lot of french but the owner spoke a little English we were able to order our food with ease.
We had ordered 2 fromage (cheese) small pizza's and 1 meat calzone, and they were very Delicious! and enough for the 4 of us.
As we waited the owner offered me a glass of vino out a large bottle which I guess was the restaurant's house wine free of charge, I ended up having 2 glasses. As we watched him prepare our meals. it was really cool to watch him open the cold drawer and cut the dough of the sizes he needed and prepare them and bake them in the old school pizza oven.
The menu is on the wall, along with many cool pictures and trinkets which gave the place something you see in the movies. Like I said very limited seating inside no more then 8 people, there is also 3 tables outside when you can wait or eat your meal.
I really wanted to try more of the menu but our time ran out fast in Paris, but if I ever find myself back in the City of Lights I will head here 1st to eat more this wonderful food. read more
