Beautiful chandeliers and art and soothing colors, decorations and lighting. Not every dish met our expectations but the ones that did were just spectacular. I will repost this review in multiple spots so please excuse the repeats. There is a small welcome aperitif - put the whole thing in your mouth. Excellent. The stuffed squash blossoms are amazing. Fried but so light and not at all oily. Our waiter recommended sushi but we have an amazing vegan sushi place that we frequent every month called Nori ATX at home and I thought we'd be disappointed so we passed. Big mistake. We saw almost everyone ordering sushi and they looked so delicate and flavorful, we really should have ordered a full sampler or at least a roll. The next two recommendations from the waiter were a disappointment. First the meatballs. We sent them back, which I now realize is a faux pas in Italy. We weren't being cheap. We just did not like them. It was basically soy crumbles in tomato sauce and while flavored, really were not delicate or noteworthy but if you're hungry and you like fake meat, they were fine. The tartare, which was supposed to be turnip w horseradish tasted like steamed beets with no hint of horseradish and definitely underwhelming. I prefer roasted beets. Again, I'm being rough...it tasted fine. The pizza on the next table looked fantastic and they said they enjoyed it. We should've chosen the pizza. Then we had the Gnocchi Cacio Pepe made with cashew cream. Amazing! Served hot and fresh, it filled us up and they split it in half. Really courteous of them. Then we shared the chefs selection of petit patisserie. Excellent. The vegan whipped cream is the best I've tasted. Wines were excellent and very reasonable. We had 5 glasses. Our entire meal was approx 100 Euros and an amazing value. We will come back tomorrow if possible and whenever we're in Milan. If you're vegan or have allergies, don't miss this place. Do Order: White wines, Squash blossoms, sushi, pizza, gnocchi, and chef's patisserie.

They needed a little extra help this night as I think there was only one server. There was also a private party in the back. Wine selections are mostly organic (if not all). Reasonable prices too. We ordered a bread plate, cheese plate, seitan steak, and pizza (not shown). When we sat down, we were told there was no vegan mozzarella. This changed a few dishes for sure. The pizza would have been much better with it, but was still very good. The cheese platter and seitan steak were stand outs for us. The vegan cheeses made by the owner would make any omnivore go vegan. In fact, we came back the next day to purchase cheese and dessert to go. Soooo worth it. I wish they shipped to the US. Had we stayed longer, we would have eaten here every other day. We will definitely be back. This is the best vegan Italian restaurant in Milan!

Good service and great environment. Recommended.

It's time to eat…read more.. BURGERS. The declaration on the side window says it all: "No clowns No Kings No Colonels Just damn good burgers" You want a good burger, this place is where you want to go. They offer a myriad of delicious burger combinations (they're even vegan/vegetarian friendly!). I enjoy the Mini-Moo as well as the Virgin Burger - both Vegetarian options. But I'm a fan of their meat-loving options as well. I can safely say that I haven't had a burger as tasty as this in a really long time. This is my in-n-out, but way way way way better. Perhaps a Murder (excuse me) Redrum Burger replacement. The space is cramped and it can be packed during the lunch hour as well as late at night. But this place is definitely the best burger place I've been to in Italy. McWho? Oh, right. Just Burger Wave's DAMN GOOD BURGERS.

Q: You really think you have to be in Australia to see a kangaroo?…read more A: Yes and No. Qui l'hamBurger parla inglese, ma non inglese americano: infatti giunge a Milano via Oceano cavalcando l'onda che, di norma proveniente dagli States, in questo caso arriva direttamente dalla terra dei Canguri, e lo stile è decisamente quello. #Tasty#wave##

You're craving fresh, grainy, healthy deliciousness? Or you're craving an avocado smoothie like that Pho place you love used to make... WHAT DO YOU DO?! WHAT DO YOU DO?! I tell you what you do: You go to La Susina, #15 on Via Lagrange. I discovered Susina through a friend and I have yet to be disappointed. I might have an Italian background, but sometimes you don't want pasta for lunch. Sometimes all you want is a nice fresh light sandwich or a plate of veggies and a delicious cool fresh fruit smoothie. La Susina offers a cozy colorful space, delicious fresh vegan friendly food (pasta/rice dishes/ veggie side dishes/ fresh sandwiches/ delicious deserts), amazing fruit/veggie smoothie options, and amazing service. Delicious and reasonably price. I typically get a mixed plate with a reasonable (HEALTHY) sized portion of three different 'dishes', an avocado smoothie, and a slice of delicious pie/cake/cookie. And I usually pay under 10 euros. I love this place. If this place were a person. I would get down on one knee and propose that we have fresh fruit smoothies every day for the rest of our lives. NOTE: If you're a burger, meat lover, think that a place like this only offers tasteless 'hippie/rabbit food' - this is not the place for you. Avoid at all costs. Because your attitude will probably ruin it for the rest of us 'rabbits.' ;p But Burger Wave is right around the corner and I highly recommend it.

I had a fresh fruit smoothie and felt instant better for it; just the ray of sunshine my body needed; the perfect little boost. The menu here caters to vegan and gluten free diets which could definitely be a godsend for many. For me, whilst it wasn't a necessity, I was really happy to have found a healthy spot like this whilst on holiday. It is bright and fun inside. - I absolutely loved the adorable soft toy vegetable characters on the shelves! Staff were friendly and welcoming and the prices are reasonable. All in all, La Susina is a pleasant healthy stop in Milan. It definitely feels like a hidden gem too as it's a little off the beaten track for tourists.
