Atmosphere: My boyfriend who had been to Ireland said that this place felt like the real deal. There are football team decorations on the wall. The bar is dark, but in the warm and friendly way. To me, it felt a lot like Irish pubs I've seen in the US. Drinks: the drink prices were pretty good and everything tasted great. They have a great selection of burgers that looked beautiful when served. Had a quick panini as we had to get back to MiCo. The wait staff gave great selections of local Italian stout and IPA. Wonderful place, wonderful people, wonderful beer. If you are looking for a nice Italian pub and are in the area, a stop at BQ is an imperative.

I've met him a couple times and I'm here for study abroad. however The bartenders completely ignore me, especially and my friends as well. I noticed them serving men before women. this is really hurtful for me to write as I truly love everyone in the service industry and I know how hard it can be. But this is truly ridiculous, and it kind of ruins my experience. I'm completely not drunk when I'm come here and they just completely ignore me. If you were to ask me the names I'd be going "ehrm.... hhhhhummmm... eeeehh..." But, FEAR you not!!! For, the moment you step into this non descriptive beer temple... you will find a truly amazing knowledgeable (and refreshingly fluent in English) staff that will guide you through the 20-something pages of beers they have in Stock. .. Some are Draft, some bottled but you got a craving, they got the beer for ya... We started off with a light fruity beer for me and a off-guinness path for Alex... then I asked to spice things up (8.5% and slightly too bitter for my taste) and Alex to slow things down... then we met half way... Then we grabbed a bottled light (corona styled beer) with a cat on the bottle brand... Then we went to an ice cream parlor but felt we should get one more beer... and once more the staff was giving us a special.... I can't stress enough how chatty, down-to-earth, knowledgeable and affable the staff is... not to mention some of the all-men dream team was pretty darn hot (just a hint for the single ladies out there).
