There is also a cafe on site where you can sample their home made sandwiches and cakes which are absolutely delicious. The service is great and the people really know their stuff. Its a little pricey but no more than you would pay elsewhere and definitely worth it for the occasional splurge.

I had the pleasure of visiting cute little Littleborough a few weeks ago to do a short photography project. fair to say I was blown away by the place and in particular this tiny Deli in the heart of the village. With the city centre littered with franchises and chains, finding independant business' has become a mission of mine. Discovering this little hidden gem therefore gave me a great deal of satisfaction. For me combining two of my favourite vices, cheese and wine, is actually a dangerous move because I am a picky customer. However, the expert advice and products firmly delivered. It's an independent family run business that has been established for over 15 years and it shows. There are loads of wines to get your head around, including one of my favourites Cloudy Bay. Don't be afraid to ask as they'll point you in the right direction. If you like beer then that is pretty much covered too. As for the cheese well that also ticks all the boxes. They have a dedicated cheesemonger (yes I know I love that word too, so say it loud and proud) with over 160 farmhouse cheeses kept in prime conditions for that perfect dairy hit. Oh and if you like to get all James Bond baddie then check out the Polish vodkas. I'll have some more of this please, shaken not stirred.

Its not only cheese though they have a huge wine cellar, extensive beer selection, all your usual deli fare and one of the best Whiskey selections you'll find anywhere. If you live in the Cleckhuddersfax region and you haven't been to Czerwik's, get yourself down there immediately. There's no better collection of delicious things in West Yorkshire, maybe the country, maybe the world.

It sells local produce, with cheeses (though try not to be put off by the tub of Philly in the lit counter-bar), but what's more is that there is a vat of homemade jam behind the counter. I think that there is a real lack of delis in Leeds that sells its own home-made products, so The Food Emporium really gets a thumbs up from me.

The staff were lovely and accommodating for our group. A couple of us ordered their Club Sandwich and the portions were hearty, with the separate portions of chips being crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside (i.e. how they should be!). It's in a great location after a walk around the lake, though given its size it would definitely get very busy during the more popular times of the week. It made for a good Instagram, however, yesterday we went to Blacker Hall Farm where we ordered afternoon tea - only to be treated to larger sandwiches, a giant scone each, and three unique delicious desserts. This far exceeded my expectations and also was quite a bit more tasty than Betty's. Would definitely visit again soon!
