I tried to clean it up, but I guess I didn't do a great job, because after that, things slowly started going downhill. The screen would randomly go black, it lagged like crazy, and some of my games just wouldn't run right. After dealing with that for almost a year, I finally decided to have it looked at. I had taken it to another shop once before for a different issue, but they kept my PC for over a week and honestly, I don't think they diagnosed it properly--because the hot chocolate mess was never addressed, and the problems continued. This time, I found Fix My PC, and I'm so glad I did. The gentleman there was super kind and clearly knew what he was doing. The shop is small, but don't let that fool you--he's sharp. After a proper diagnosis, he found the issue: the video card had been damaged from the spill. He cleaned it out thoroughly and replaced the card--and had it all done in just 3 days! I couldn't believe it. Fast, accurate, and no upselling or runaround. Compared to the last place, which took a week just to figure things out and more time to change a part, Fix My PC was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend!
