We hate eating free hotel breakfasts so we decided to venture out and try to find a breakfast café. Unfortunately, we didn't see anything that peaked our interest so we decided to walk to Taste of Argyll to see if they had any availability. The restaurant recommends you make reservations, as it is a very small space, so I wasn't hopeful but luckily it wasn't busy and there were a few tables available.
Service was lovely, so friendly and hospitable. We loved hearing our server talk with the locals about their day and all that. Felt really homey and I appreciated that.
The food was delicious, presented well and came out super fast. We did not have to wait very long for our breakfast at all. My tea was excellent, I think it was a sea chai or something like that. Super unique and I wish I would have gotten some satchels to take home with me. The coffee is also excellent here. read more
