Heard about Tasc when they were all over my social media earlier this year before tulip season and I am so glad we got tickets to go! We went on a past Saturday and the place was relatively easy to find. There is ample free parking on site. The actual tulips fields are fenced in with the ticketing station and some porta potties on the outskirts. Once you purchase your walk in ticket or show your prebooked ticket, they will usher you to a few staff at the front where they relayed instructions. There were buckets available to use as with each entry you get to pick and take ten tulips home. Each additional was one dollar each. There were two packing stations near the exits where staff members will wrap your blooms for you to carry home. To pick a bloom, grab from lower stem and pull up. If a bulb is still attached just twist it off and put it back on the ground. Apparently at that point the bulbs are no longer nutritious and unable to be reused? In the fields, everything was up for grabs except a special patch on the upper left corner to the entrance. Those were the show specials and tulips were planted in intricate designs versus plain rows. When we went (mid full bloom already) almost all the flowers in every row except one or two were fully bloomed. We did see a few ladies only picking buds. Theirs will definitely last longer in a vase than ours! Even though there was quite a number of people there around noon time, it was still relatively okay to take photos without a lot of people around or behind you. Definitely check this place out next year and enjoy the gorgeous flowers! Remember to keep them hydrated. Ours were wilting from the car ride back to Toronto but perked up within 10-20 min in some water.

A 2 million Tulip field? You bet I'm there. For $20, I thought this was a great experience. It covers the entry fee, and you also get to pick 10 tulips! They are very worth it as these are different from the grocery store ones. They're so big and vibrant and such a spectacular sight after your experience. The most important thing is timing. I timed it as last year the cherry blossoms bloomed April 13, and pre-sale tickets start much earlier and they sell out pretty quickly for the weekends, so I made a safe bet that the second weekend (May 7) would be best. This year, the cherry blossoms bloomed the first week of May, and unfortunately I was one week off of the best weekends, as the third/fourth were the best ones and made such a difference in the tulips blooming. I made good with what was given, but imagine if I had a full field. For being sold out, it was both crowded and not at the same time. You don't feel crowded at all mostly and there's so much space, but where the tulips grow in just certain spots, there were quite a few people trying to take photos too and there's always people in the background. Another tip is to bring a jug of water in the car. They wrap the tulips but water is not given, and by the time we left the field they were already wilting. Thankfully they are hardy flowers and when we got home 2 hours later, they perked up and still bloomed nicely afterwards. My one negative was some of the staff were borderline rude. I walked past the beginning area because the first staff member didn't tell us we had to wait for the instructions clearly, and I was 'scolded' quite loudly by another staff member about staying in the area which made me feel a little embarrassed as there were others around. That was the most notable interaction, but all my other interactions weren't that positive with other staff. 4.5/5.

Visited on May 14 morning and almost all the tulips were bloomed making for a beautiful sight. Our tickets were for 830am and we were a little late which wasn't an issue. It wasn't that crowded at that time but eventually started to get more crowded. Everything's very organized and they have people directing you where to go and park your car. You get to pick 10 tulips with your ticket and you can get more at an additional price. They explain to you how to pick the flowers and have buckets to carry them - very straightforward. Would recommend bringing wipes for your hands and that you have a plan for how you're going to get the tulips back home. If you're not going home right away make sure you have a way to keep them cool or carry them around with you. May also help to have something to put them in water. We spent a couple of hours just walking around choosing our favourite flowers and of course taking a lot of pictures. There are a couple areas with shaded picnic tables and portable washrooms on sight. Overall really enjoyed visiting and definitely worth it!

I somewhat knew what to…read moreexpect because I have been to several butterfly farms before, so I was expecting the usual enclosed environment with butterflies flying freely around. However, this conservatory was even prettier than some of the other butterfly attractions I have visited. The environment itself is beautiful and peaceful. There are numerous butterflies flying around, along with lovely greenery, waterfalls, and water features that make the space feel calm and relaxing. It is a very nice attraction for anyone who enjoys nature, photography, or simply wants a peaceful place to explore. One part that really stood out to me was the interactive activity at the end of the experience. Guests are given a coloring sheet with a butterfly, hummingbird, or another design to color. Once finished, the attraction attendant scans the artwork, and then your colored image appears on a screen. I thought that was such a cool and creative feature. It added something extra and memorable to the visit. Overall, the Butterfly Conservatory was a beautiful and enjoyable attraction. The butterflies, scenery, water features, and interactive activity made it a relaxing and fun experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This attraction doesn't require an appointment, but it is a longer bus ride from the other Niagara Parks attractions, so be sure to plan for that. We used our passes to take the WEGO bus from Niagara Takes Flight to the butterfly conservatory. Rain was in the forecast, so this is a nice, indoor option. The conservatory itself houses so many butterflies, and they tell you upon entry that it is thought to be lucky if a blue one lands on you, so everyone inside is doing their best to attract a blue butterfly. Several landed on us, and while you don't want to move for fear of them flying away, you also want to get your companion's attention to snap that perfect pic! We had lots of fun even though the temperature is kept very warm and the space was crowded. Clearly, everyone had the same rainy-day activity planned. My only complaint comes from when I asked about re-entry. I was told that we could leave the conservatory, but not the building. We wanted to visit the cafe and grab a bite to eat or something to drink and perhaps return once the crowd had thinned out a bit, but that is not permitted. We were told that we could step out to cool down in the gift shop or lobby area and then return through the same entrance that we used when we arrived. The volunteer got on her walkie to tell someone that we'd be coming back in, so I'm not even sure that this is normally permitted. Overall, it was a fun and new experience for us. The staff was kind and the conservatory is beautiful. There's also a botanical garden and at least one beehive there, but we didn't get to explore the outdoor areas due to the rain.
