I utilized the pool and was surprised that several lap lanes were open at 11am on a Saturday. Only downside is the pool had to close due to a lifeguard calling out. Overall this Y location is very nice and I would recommend. I was impressed with be coffee and snack bar that appeared to even offer bagels. Also impressed with the community boards offering numerous resources and flyers.

I have had conversations with leadership and have been assured the issue would be dealt with but it's been an ongoing issue. They have no problem when one of my kids has an off day letting me know or threaten to expel him but it's perfectly okay for them to be bullied by staff and other kids and we can't even get a meeting. It's beyond disgraceful that people working with children subject them to cruelty and only see the kids as the problem.

I've been a member of the JCC Rec Center for over two years and never knew that my annual…read moremembership could also been used at this humble gym. It's close to where I just moved so I'm sure this will quickly become a regular spot for me. It's very no frills in that it has your basic cardio machines,weight machines and a few free weights, but it gets the job done. Attached to an elementary school, membership gets you access to a basketball court and pretty nice locker rooms. I've noticed that there are aerobics classes a couple of nights during the week. Not sure if it's extra $, but honestly it seems to be geared towards the seniors so doesn't matter to me. I like that it never seems to be busy. The equipment appears to be old equipment from the JCC Rec Center, but it still works. Membership here (without access to JCC) is only $50 for a whole year.
