I called and explained my son had Walking Pneumonia (as diagnosed by his pediatrician) but now my husband and I were sick with the same symptoms so I wanted to see if she could test for that and get us antibtioics, which is what my son took to get better. She told me Walking Pneumonia is only viral so you never take antibiotics for it and implied they cannot test for it. I was dumbfounded because our pediatrician told us the exact opposite. A quick google search confirmed that she was very wrong -- it's mostly bacterial and you definitely can test for it and take antibiotics for it. I would not trust these people with your health because they have no idea what they're talking about. Be careful.

I forgot to bring the insurance card and they refered us to another lab for blood work. The receptionist made a copy of the copy of my card she had on file so we didn't have to make an extra trip home. No one can beat Dr Reyes's bedside manner. He is so sweet and gentle; in her almost dozen exams with him my daughter hasn't cried but once (she was over tired). One visit we did have to wait 45 minutes before being seen. No explanation or apologies. (That was the day the baby cried at the poking). That's why 4 and not 5 stars. But overall we have excellent experiences everytime we go. Dr Reyes and Kellie each take time to answer questions & make the little one feel comfortable. I think Dr Reyes might be the most knowledgeable pediatric pulmonologist in OKC (there's a good lady dr at OU Children's also).

I was able to make an appointment online via Solv App and they were ready to take us back when we arrived. The facility itself is bright, colorful, and inviting. The waiting area is clean and well-organized, with comfortable seating, not that we spent much time there. What really stood out to me was the quality of care we received. The pediatrician and nurses were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind, taking the time to explain everything to us in a way that we could understand. They were also very thorough in their examinations and took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. One thing that really impressed me was the level of communication and follow-up care provided. The pediatrician made sure to give us clear instructions on how to care for our child at home, as well as follow-up instructions for our regular pediatrician. Overall, I would highly recommend this after-hours pediatric care center to any parents looking for high-quality, compassionate care for their children. The reason why there is a long wait sometimes is because the doctors (primarily female doctors, which I like) will come in and sit down and get a holistic idea of what's going on. They ask questions about what's going on in life, what are the issues today, and much more. Everyone I have seen there has been in no rush, and I always feel heard and understood. BUT, as soon as I voiced personal needs and/or opinions different than hers AND the "guidelines" set forth by my insurance provider, her demeanor  changed. I was told that my "unwillingness to take certain medications and to participate in wellness surveys and screenings would make her look bad to the insurance provider."  I employed Ms. Lacefield to provide support,  expertise, and treatment for MY health and wellness and to prescribe what is BEST for ME.   Insurance is only to assist me in ACCESSING and PAYING for that medical expertise and treatment.  Insurance does not get to dictate MY medical treatment.  I DO.  Ms. Lacefield's priority is to the insurers' protocols rather than to what is best for the patient.
