The boudin election is impressive and ranges from green onion to traditional, crawfish in season, deer, and a newer jalapeño boudin. They sell fresh and frozen - including all kinds of interesting and fun things like boudin egg rolls (oh yes - really - and they are mmm mmmm good), boudin balls, étouffe, gumbo, hogshead cheese, cracklins, and more In addition to the specialty meats they are also known for their jalapeño sausage cheese bread. I later wrote to the company president asking that the matter be reconsidered, but I never received a response. FedEx ultimately denied my claim as untimely. While I still believe Bourque's has excellent products, I was disappointed by the way this shipping issue was handled and would hesitate to order perishable items for shipment again.
