I don't remember the doctor from last time but Dr. V was very nice. She asked if I had problems and I told her about my dry eyes. She gave me a solution to solve it vs in the last, other optometrists would just brush it off and tell me to continue doing what I do. I did appreciate how in depth she was and explained why I had dry eyes. She gave me the name of some gel eye drops to use along with some instructions. I really appreciated it! The other girls were nice as well. I was greeted right away when I enter and even after waiting for a while, someone did come up to me to confirm if I needed help.

I went here after years of denial that I needed glasses. Target optical is located directly to the…read moreleft or right after you walk in from the main entrance (depending which entrance you walk into), right in front of the registers. I was helped by all four of the staff members throughout my entire experience with Target Optical. All were very friendly and helpful! There is just one optometrist, Dr. Johnson, and she was great in explaining everything and performed thorough examinations. She prescribed reading glasses and her staff helped me navigate the process of picking out glasses. I thought there was a generous amount of frame styles and designers to choose from. There were also running a buy one get one half off deal in the store at the time. My reading glasses were estimated to arrive within a week and a half after the order was placed; however, I received notification they were ready for pick up within a week. When I tried them on, they needed to be slightly adjusted which the staff did right away, not more than 5 minutes, and the fit was perfect. All in all a great experience: a thorough eye examine, very quick and friendly service. I already made my appointment to come back in a year!

Had their "protective coating" and it was worthless. Had bought their extra warranty and had another pair made. Wore them less than 3 weeks and horrible scratches across them again. Use only kimtech to clean them and am not hard on my glasses in any way. I only wear them in the evening when I am home. Have worn glasses for 40+ years and normally have them 5-6 years at a time from other places and all still look close to new. America's Best protective coating for scratches is WORTHLESS! I called and talked with a Cole who said, "well you must have done something to them, they don't just scratch themselves." Would like to chalk it up to "you get what you pay for" but in this case think the ones from the dollar stores would be a better investment. Word of mouth goes a long ways, especially when you work in a medical setting and have lots of people asking about recommendations for decent affordable glasses. Can be quaranteed I steer every one of them away from America's Best. America's Worst would be a much more fitting name!
