No one works the register , one person works the return station or pick up your order stations. They have lots in stock of what I wanted so that a good thing . Pleased with the decor , the prices were reasonable. I do like target but do not like their politics . I could barely get my husband to walk in there. I said so you want to get some coffee creamer while we are here , nope I don't buy anything from Target. I shop there because I love to save money using my card I save 5% automatically. It's ridiculous to have a store policy that self checkout can't be opened until 11am so that there can be more staff/customer interaction. If this is the case you need to have more than 1 register open so the line isn't 10+ people deep with a slower cashier being the only one on the register. This just leads to annoyed/angry customer/staff interaction. Luckily, who I assume to be supervisor opened a register after 10 people were in line, but by the time she got to us, both lines were very long. read more

This Target is very clean and well organized. It has a Starbucks inside and offers Pizza Hut pizza and other snacks for self checkout. I also come here to pick up my CVS prescriptions. There is only a small grocery section, as this is not a Super Target. There is no deli or bakery. But, there is still quite a selection of grocery items. Compared to the local Walmart, this Target is much nicer and cleaner, but does not have as great a selection. read more

This particular Target is no where near to where I live but it was in an area where I was running errands, so I decided to pop in. I'm so glad I did. Inside it is much like any other Target. Organized with nice products and clean. But the difference between this one and the one closer to home? The employees. The workers here were so great. They were pleasant, and cheerful and not once did I get an defeatist attitude or a rolled eye when I asked a question like the other location. The first time, I was looking on a shelf, and a young lady popped up out of nowhere with a big smile and said "Hi! If you need any help, I'm right over here." And promptly disappeared from my sight. (When I looked, she was stocking a lower shelf right around the corner.) When I did have a question, the worker I asked was just as nice and helpful and did not make me feel like I was putting them out or wasting their time. Others just smiled and greeted me as I shopped. In fact, the whole experience was such a drastic difference from the other Target farther south, I actually said something to their Team Leader, and let her know that it was worth my time to drive out of my way to shop here at this store just because of the positive attitudes. read more

THE WORST for a Friday morning at 9am. Especially on July 5th. They had ONE register open with an elderly lady running it. She was not pleasant and was very slow. As the line grew to about 15+ customers, I watched as several associates just passed her by without offering assistance to her or any of the customers. The place was a wreck and no one had a good attitude or engaged at all. I'm sure they were recovering from a July 4th sale, but the whole operation was being managed poorly. I would expect this from a lesser chain, but not from TARGET. read more

I order from this target constantly because it is the closest one to me, also because I absolutely hate going inside. This target always has the longest lines because there's only 1 person on the register and 4 self checkouts. Today I had to go into the store to exchange something and it was the most frustrating experience. I waited in the customer service line while two cashier were helping other customers. One was helping a lady do a return for an item that she didn't have a receipt for and the other was doing a regular return. After the second cashier finished doing the return, she left the register to tell people in the self check out line that a register was open. This lady clearly saw that the guest service line was growing and we were waiting for over 15 minutes but she decided not to help. Since the lady was occupied with watching people and the other guest service cashier struggle.. I then started to tell people that were in the other line that the self check out registers were opening up. so essentially doing part of her job. She didn't seem amused but she also didn't help with doing anything else for anyone else.. Overall... customer service is definitely going downhill... read more

Love the idea of not having to wait for shoppers with carriages full to go through the self checkout but today, 6 self check out registers and 3 had half full carriages, and one employee watching except that employee was helping one shopper only and not just for a minute. If they're having a deal online or on their app they claim they're not & you have to go through every single detail with them for them to "believe" you! I love target to the fullest but there customer service is getting to the point I think they are Turing into the other people. ( and I know u all know I'm talking about.) While there are many negative reviews about the north side target I have nothing negative to say. I'm in and out quickly and the employees are as helpful as you can expect someone to be when you ask them silly questions all day.Also for all of you coming to this for the first time don't let the reviews of the strung out trailer park people keep you from getting good prices at a clean store. read more

I have read over some of the reviews about disrespectful employees and so forth, but the reviews were older. They must have Changed their ways because I have always received superb customer service. The selections on various furniture, electronics, and baby items are great. The store is extremely clean and the associates have always treated me with respect. Restrooms are clean and the Starbucks built in is a nice treat as well. I snag a piece of pizza once and awhile if I am hungry and just walk around to buy random things that my wife will yell at me about. We chose to leave the Walmart scene and switch to Target. We have never regretted the decision. The plaza is connected to 3 separate lots that have great department stores, restaurants, and electronic stores. We could spend all day walking from store to store. They really built the area up. read more

This is a good spot with a great location. Some of the employees were having a conversation that about another employee by the fitting room and it was unnecessary. It makes employees unapproachable. It seems like everyone forgets about Target. I know I rarely shop here since Walmart tends to be cheaper. This particular Target is one of the biggest stores in the chain I've been to, so there's a pretty big selection of stuff plus it has its own grocery store. What's weird is that when I've been here there's been hardly any other customers in the store. And they don't play Muzak or anything so the store is quiet like a library. Also, there's only one door and it's all the way on the left and the grocery section is all the way to the right. That's dumb. At least put two entrances in if you're gonna do that. Employees have been as friendly and helpful as Publix, which is a major plus over Walmart. But the prices are higher across the board. I'd say if you want something from the department store part this Target is good for that but I don't know why anyone would shop for groceries here since Walmart or Publix would be cheaper. read more

This is a favorite place of mine, love the store, excited that it expanded to more groceries and fresh fruit. The team members are great, one of the young ladies that work there she is always smiling and remembers you and ask you how are you doing. There is another team member that has seen my son since he was an infant an to this day she says Hi to him and remembers his name, after going to the store many times to buy diapers. The team at the Pharmacy remembers our name when I go to pick up our prescriptions. I love this Target!!! read more

Targets are pretty standard. This had been my favorite of the Lakeland stores--less crowded with pushy customers. Conveniently located next to Staples and Michaels. However I have taken it from four stars down to two stars, due to its consistent trashy rude clerks, male and female. They don't care if they're working and they take their attitude out on customers. Our family is a Target family. Walmart doesn't exist to us. We've been shopping at this Target since they opened. Target quality is superior to Walmart so we don't mind spending the occasional extra dollar or two if need be. Everything from household supplies to toiletries to diapers to sometimes food we get here. Probably half of our household goods, aside from food, came from Target. It's right near Michael's and a short jump from Dollar Tree, our two other favorite stores in the area. I liked when they got rid of the lawn and garden area and added more food variety. However, we only buy food here rarely. It wouldn't be the holidays without visiting Target and browsing their holiday selections. The clothing is good quality but a bit pricey. Our kids have been getting their bikes here for several years now and they've practically grown up visiting the toy section here. When we need help finding something an employee shows up right away and they are usually always friendly. The cashiers are also usually friendly and don't show that sense of being worked to the bone like at Walmart. The only thing I dislike about this store was when they got rid of the stand alone guest service counter. Now I have to stand in line to with people buying something and sometimes sense the ire of people waiting if my return takes too long. read more
