I have stage4 lung cancer. So I decided to shop for Christmas on line from Target. I ordered an apple gift card to be sent by email. Target web site said I had to email to myself and then regift it . This was on December20th. When I got the email and went to regift it said it could not be resent by email until Dec. 22nd. My son never got the gift card. I went on chat with them today two different chat people hung up before I could even explain the problem. The third attempted to be helpful, only to end up telling me that gift cards was another department and I had to call them for help. DO NOT SHOP FOR AN EMAIL CARD FROM TARGET!! OK, so this isn't the Super Target that I am used to, but I will learn to adjust. Besides, this Target is WAAAAYYYYY better than the one in Champaign, for the following reasons: -Great clothing selection and they come in more than two sizes. -My favorite eco cleaning products available :) -They have pretty good stuff on sale (i.e. Frederic Fekkai hair care products); it makes you more willing to try the nice stuff when you get them at a deal ;) -Cute furniture and home decor section!!! -Never seem to run out of my skim milk and favorite vodka pasta sauce -AND...they always have a plethora of cheap movies ($7 for Shaun of the Dead?? Target - Front of store! - Department Stores Near Me - Decatur, Illinois

Ok, so I remember the day when Decatur started construction for this building and I was pretty darn excited! (a) It's about time, (b) I had still yet to be IN a Target store, and (c) IT'S ABOUT TIME. This Target isn't a super Target with the grocery portion included, but it's not really needed either with the Wal-Mart and Sam's a block away consuming so much of the Decatur grocery shopper market. The thing I really love about this place is that it's always clean and put together. Things don't seem to be haphazardly thrown about the clearance racks like some of the other stores. Additionally, they have a good selection of clothes, shoes, dvds, and books! I will say it's a bit lacking in the cosmetics section, but no big deal. went to this store this afternoon with my husband and two children i purchased some underwear and had taken one out the box to make sure it was the correct one as i went to ring up the box one of the underwear had fallen out in the bag and this old lady fat with the dirtiest long grey hair shouts did that scan because it just fell into the bag and wasnt scanned i explained to her that i had taken it out its part of the box i woudnt steal mam she proceeds to say its my job to check to see i said maybe at your job you should learn some manners kindly say hey man i noticed a item wasnt scanned can i help you she rolled her eyes at me i said seriously you are going to shout at me i said i just spent 200$ she said im calling security i said go ahead and call them the security lady came over and i explained to her she said no problem and didnt say anything to the other employee i was so humiliated isnt that what security is for if i was going to steal never again read more

Great pharmacy!! We were from out of town and needed a tough to get medication. Called other pharmacies in town and this was the only one that had it! They got my Dr contacted, prescription transferred and filled within half hour! Absolutely spectacular and helpful and caring. Kudos to the GREAT STAFF that was there to help me this evening!!!! read more

People in Decatur are do sweet. They almost run to help you. We walked in and was heading to the electronics sections when some nice lady asked ud if we needed help and then she literally walked us to the section. read more

I walk up to make an exchange and the lady was awesome but I needed to go get the item to do the exchange so I walk off into the store. I also grabbed 3 other items real quick. I return to 3 teens and another younger employee in his 20's. All are goofing off but one of the teens walks behind the counter. At the counter there are COVID 19 plexiglass guards with a small hole to pass items under to be scanned. I pass the 4 items under, one for the exchange. He hands me back the exchange item with no bag. He apologizes for the lack of bag but doesn't reach to get it back from me to place it in the bag. I wait for him to ring up the other items so then I can put the exchanged item into that bag. I pay BUT he walks off with the remaining 3 items still on the other side of the plexiglass unbagged!! I turn around to see he is walking off, singing and texting on his phone!! I had to reach under the plexiglass to get my items and a bag that was barely in reach and then bag my own things. I have a big attitude and can definitely speak up but I'd rather run a nice review like this one. Manager: Your night crew from 7/7/2020 at 9:50pm needs to be replaced. I would be embarrassed to have those kids representing me at my store. read more

I lost my child and senior mother, who does not have a cell phone, in the store late in the afternoon. I looked and could not find them and had to pick my 6 year old up at school. When I asked customer service to do a page the manager refused. I had to leave them at the store and luckily someone flagged me down as I was pulling out that they were found. There was no reason why they couldn't do a page and this was a horrible experience that terrified me and I don't think I will ever shop there with my family again. read more

target deserves zero stars. we were "escorted out" of the store at 8:59 when the store closes at 9. the employees obviously do not want to be there because they were VERY quick to leave when 9:00 hit. they were practically pushing customers out the doors. i am very disappointed with the service. will not be returning any time soon. read more
