Annapolis has got a ton of little clothing shops and odds and ends but THE COTTAGE's selection was top notch. They had bracelets, bags, decor, clothes...you name it. I'm from the south and live in Ohio now, but this shop was reminiscent of the shops in the south. Classy and prices reasonable for the quality they carry, plus the staff were so hospitable. Hopefully I'll be stopping in on a regular basis if I get a Mid class 2031.

To differentiate between the two locations they are calling the downtown Annapolis store The Cottage on Main and the Severna Park store The Cottage in The Park. The inventory between the two stores seems very similar. I can almost always find something to buy at this great local, small business. Here are some of my most recent finds: - Avanti greeting cards often featuring funny animals. They are the best! - Keva leather jewelry. It's light and so comfortable to wear. - Farmhouse Fresh lotions and soaps. Great quality and not overbearing scents. - Hobo purses and wallets. Awesome colors, practical designs and yummy leather. - A variety of thoughtful and sweet baby gifts. Lots of pretty prints. - Boho bandeaus. I really like these for working out in the yard. - Rifle Paper Co. stemless drinking glasses. Seems great for anything. - Although not personally a favorite of mine, popular brands like Vera Bradley, Kendra Scott and Swig. Since this location is in downtown Annapolis parking is a consideratoin. On an early weekday morning you might be able to grab a metered spot our front. The Noah Hillman Parking Garage is nearby too. Or you can always drive 15 minutes to the Severna Park location where parking is plentiful. Overall, The Cottage on Main is a great addition to downtown Annapolis.

Here's the thing: they're a small outfit. They do deliver, but it's best if you pick up. It's also best if you order in person over the phone, and work with them on what goes into the bouquet. And because they're a small outfit, we tend not to use them on Valentine's day--I have a feeling they may be overwhelmed. But they're a great local business, and everything I've ever gotten from them (repeat customer here) has been absolutely stunning. In particular, they're good at getting fresh, long-stemmed roses that last a long time.

We had an excellent experience with Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of DC Metro. We were having an…read moreissue with our patio and retaining wall lighting system, and Rico did an incredible job troubleshooting and repairing the problem. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and communicated well throughout the entire process. Although he was running behind schedule, he kept us informed, which was greatly appreciated. For anyone concerned about arrival times, I would encourage you to be patient and give them some grace. Not every project is cut and dry, and Rico never knows what he may encounter when he arrives at a job. Some projects take longer than expected because he takes the time to properly diagnose and fix the issue rather than rushing through it. What impressed us most was Rico's dedication to getting the job done right. He did not leave until the problem was fully resolved and the project was completed. His attention to detail, persistence, and commitment to customer satisfaction were outstanding. Thank you to Rico and the entire team for providing exceptional service. Huge shout out also to Conrad for quick communication and frequent updates. We highly recommend Outdoor Lighting Perspectives and would gladly use them again in the future.

Though he had plenty of time to do so, he did not give us any kind of heads up he would be late until I called numerous times and emailed the owner. At that point (30 minutes late), he told us he was still an hour away. When I mentioned to the owner, Conrad, that we understand these things happen but the lack of communication created a lot of inconvenience for us, the response was very snippy and unprofessional. Additionally, he tried to convince me of an untrue version of events, which was such weird way to handle the situation. I expect he will respond to this review in a similar manner. I would not recommend this company. They are rude, overpriced, and definitely consider their time to be more valuable than yours.

After doing some research and reading reviews, I came across Aqua-Bright. Their response for an appointment, their reasonable price, and communication were different than the other 7-8 companies I've dealt with in the past. Miguel showed up and did a walk-through, asked a few questions, and went to work. He put the system through a test run, we walked each zone to discuss my concerns and issues; and then he came up with a plan to make the irrigation system more effective and reliable. Miguel was very professional, efficient, organized, and very knowledgeable. As I watched Miguel make adjustments to some of the sprinkler heads, you can see the care, work quality, and caring attitude in his performance. It was as if Miguel was working on his own irrigation system. I cannot say enough about my experience, but I highly recommend them. Dwayne 5-19-2021I
