Mara, however, made the experience painless from as early as the booking, and dare I say: the actual shoot was FUN. BEFORE: I had to cancel my initial appointment with her because of work, but she rescheduled it easily with no qualms - for the weekend before her own wedding, no less! She gave suggestions of wardrobe that would go best with my skin-tone based on the current head shots that I sent to her. And she also told me that I didn't need to get a makeup artist, which saved me a couple hundred bucks, and showed me that she had my best financial interest at heart. DURING: I am usually not very comfortable in front of a still camera - I'm an Actress, not a Model (that's a good excuse, right?) - but Mara talked me through the shoot as if she were directing a scene, which was extremely helpful. This way, instead of feeling like I was in front of a still camera, I felt like I was just doing what I know: acting, living, whatever, and she caught it all; it was EASY. AFTER: The very next day, Mara sent me 1 photo that she had edited overnight to give me an idea of how the other ones would turn out. And, about 1 day later she sent me an online proof with all photos, *edited*; and about a week after that: a cd. They were all amazing. Then we found Larousse, and she ticked all of those boxes, and delivered to us wedding photos that many of our friends and family have called 'the best they've ever seen.'
