We love the Mexican food options in Central WA, and that is no secret. This family's food was as delicious as expected, but what slapped us was very generous portions to be able to share with folks when we got back from camping this weekend. Let me tell you, these were the biggest, freshest, and tastiest sopes I have had in years! I loved the chicken, but the crispy carnitas one was going to be eaten up, and NOT going off in a box. Don't get me started on the Hubby. Anytime he sees chicharrones in green sauce, I will get a picture. That's a dish that isn't on any menu in the Spokane area. With at least 8 other mexican restaurants in town I am surprised that not one is providing excellent food or facilities including this one. With 4's we gave it a try for breakfast burritos on the go. Can't really mees that up....or can you? First let me just say, the hostess/cashier was really nice & accommodating. When asked what was in the breakfast burritos, I was told egg, cheese, & meat. Not true, there was also rice & beans which made it challenging to taste the eggs. I ordered 2 w/chorizo burritos, was charged for Huevos, hmmmmm that is $6 more & not what I ordered. Was told that she didn't see the burrito button on register so was given $4 back. Not quite what I was overcharged but I already had her flustered so I felt bad. All in all the burritos were OK, chips were meh, salsa bar had options but not very flavorful & the regular salsa was not from scratch. Probably will not be back, I mean I do have many others to try out next time I am in the area. read more

Good food but just basic Tex-Mex food I believe they prepare their meat and beans and rice the day before unless it's left over from the day before either way it's good stuff, especially the breakfast. Carne Asada burrito. read more

My standards for Mexican food are pretty high, and a score of 3 means they met my expectations, so this shouldn't be seen as trashing them. They were good but not really stand outs. Asada tortas, burritos and tacos are my go to when I come here! So delicious. A campechano burrito is also super delicious. Has three different types of meats inside and it the size of my forearm. Huge burritos that can be split between two people. read more

Wanted to try this place out based on the reviews. Nope. Could not eat here after visiting the disgusting rest room. If the restroom looks unclean, what does the kitchen look like? Lost my appetite after washing my hands and there was zero hot water too. The tiles on the floor were filthy, looking like droppings and mold along the walls. Hadn't tried it in a while since I remember it being one of the worst mexican restaurants in town. Recently my bosses were in town and offered to buy us lunch. After they told us where they were u buying I said I was ok, but after insisting I reluctantly got some Carne asada tacos. I understand hardly anybody that sells tacos do homemade tortillas, but the store bought ones they served were cold and the tacos were dry. Never again. read more

Be prepared for a looooooonnnnnggggggg wait. They seem to make things to order which is great but when there's a couple of tables before you, that could mean a really long wait. We got a few tacos, the beef cheek, tongue and carnitas and a veggie burrito. The food was all quite good but when you have to wait 45 minutes for it and that too without chips and salsa (they don't do that kind of stuff apparently) to help with the wait, it can get pretty annoying. Overall decent food, really great prices but really slow service. Stop by if you have the time. read more

It does not look like much from the outside and on the inside it's a no-frills bare bones type of place. from reading all the reviews we were warned that the food might take a little while to be prepared --and it did -- and it was worth waiting for! This is a family restaurant that has grandma making fresh mexican food in the back. Everytime we go there are a ton of familes dining in the restaurant. Based on previous reviews, we stopped here because the taco truck we usually go to was closed. Our receipt says that we paid at 12:58 and it's now 1:40...we ordered 2 Sopas and 5 asada tacos. Looked to a table that arrived well after us, as they were being served. Probably won't be back no matter how good the food is. Beware. read more

We were in town for the Sandhill Crane Festival. We drove past the Mexican restaurants to see who had the most cars and we found this local spot. The food was awesome, great prices, super nice server! The best tamales I've had in a LONG time! Great salsa. My hubby had street tacos. They also serve breakfast...wish we had been there and extra day to have breakfast here. This is very cas....not a ton of tables if you want to eat in, but great food. While the visit here resulted in epic ups and downs, Taquiera Guerrero was a solid entry in a state mostly devoid of good Mexican food. The upper was finding this place while on our way to Pullman in the middle of a dust storm and seeing Tripe on the menu. The downer was that they were out! Damn you! Amazing meats. Had four tacos, the Pork was delicious and the beef perfectly seasoned and tender. I would eagerly return just for the tacos but there appears to be so much more on the menu. Traveling out of state on our way to Seattle and stopped by for lunch. The lady taking orders was very sweet. The food was great. I had a beef enchilada with green sauce which was very tasty. I did find the beef to be a little salty but still very good. The green salsa was spicy and flavorful while the red salsa was a bit different and more mild. Don't judge by the outside looks. There are brilliant wall paintings inside, and very clean. This is authentic Mexican food with good menu. You order & pay; food is delivered to your table or booth. There is a salsa bar with 6 or so sauces. Wife had enchiladas (boring), but they were excellent.
