If you're craving flavor-packed tacos that hit every note--this is the spot! I ordered the quesatacos, and wow... melty cheese, tender meat, and crispy edges that made every bite perfect. They had homemade chile de aceite aka hot sauce in oil "YUMMY" You can taste the love in every taco. The service was so fast! Not sure if I should post this because I see this place getting super packed with lines outside sooner than later. SERIOUSLY they are tasty! The ambiance adds to the experience--bright, lively, and full of energy. The music videos playing inside nonstop on the TV keep the vibe fun and upbeat, making it a great place to hang out with friends or just enjoy some tacos solo. They also have seating in the back and parking. If you're anywhere nearby, run, don't walk, for those quesatacos. read more

Muy mala la comida el menudo la carne se veia muy sucia las enchiladas muy duras y frias no recomiendo el lugar

It is a very small restaurant no more than 6-8 tables. We walked in and we were not greeted/welcomed for what seemed to be 5 mins. There were three employees and nobody looked up. There's a sign that says everything is made fresh so please be patient. I came here because it said enchiladas Michoacan style. (Michoacan is state in Mexico) I got the enchilada plate with cecina (literal translation is corned beef) to me it's a think beef jerky that is fried also I asked for chicken. The top sauce is mix of tomato, jalapeño, vinegar, salt and oregano. They come with cabbage, radish and thinly sliced potatoes that are fried. The chicken was not fresh and was cold. Enchiladas were dry and flavorless. I had to ask for more sauce and still nothing. Would I recommend? Not if you not local. My search for the Michoacan enchiladas continues read more

I found this restaurant on Instagram a couple years ago and was very interested in the Michoacan style enchiladas as enchiladas in general are my favorite Mexican dish. I saved it to my "food" folder of places to try one day, well that day came yesterday. The restaurant was easy to find, very clean and the cashier explained the different side options that accompany their signature dish of enchiladas. They have a very nice and clean back lot where outside dining is offered and we opted to eat there as I much prefer dining al fresco when possible. The food was served quickly and came with several fresh made salsas as well as other condiments brought. In all honesty I was a bit disappointed with the enchiladas. The sauce was thin and barley coated the tortillas, but the chicken and papas were good with the light tomato salsa. It was nice and quiet outside as we were the only ones eating out there. However the reason for my poor rating is due to 1) lack of table service: nobody came to wait on us, offer refills, check if everything was okay. This is not a counter service type restaurant so that was disappointing. 2) unprofessional staff: the whole time we were eating the cook outside was speaking to someone who had dropped by through the back gate entrance. Both were sharing stories and every sentence had "guey" in it and a few cuss words. We could hear all of it. Never did it occur to them that this was inappropriate to do in front of customers who were trying to enjoy a meal. It became embarrassing for me in front of my husband who I could tell was pretending not to notice that it was my suggestion to give this place a try. The word "guey" is not a "bad" or cuss word, but it is generally used in way that is considered to be inappropriate language. You would think they'd know that doing this at a business establishment in front of customers was not a good idea. It is unfortunate that this happened. I don't think we will be back. I don't want to go somewhere to spend money to eat to be treated this way. My husband was still generous to leave a tip though it was undeserved. read more

It's good food, not great! Well at least what we ate today, the hard shell carnitas tacos and the enchiladas. There's a older lady I think she's a cook and brought our plates and in that small food she started yelling my number, I called her over, she yelled again, I yelled my number, she yelled the number again while looking at me, she walk over and I was standing and while we were 2 feet apart she yelled again "NUMBER SUCH AND SUCH!!?" So I yelled YEA, NUMBER SUCH AND SUCH! THANK YOU!! I graved the plates from her hands. The truth is I don't care about service only the food unless I'm ignored by the servers or just rudeness over all. BUYERS BE WARE: Don't go on the weekends!!! The two plates we got took 45 minutes!!! I understand you are not a fast food restaurant but your food line is incompetent! At the end of the meal we figure it was the right time to get something to go, I made sure with the cashier on how long it would take, I order food that it is usually already prepped, she said 10minites, so I ordered... it took 35minutes! Nothing was being prepared until one of the guys cleaning the tables came by and I asked him to check on my food... he went to the back and he prepared my food (10mnts). In side the restaurant... it's so small of an area that the creams of the crying yelling devil babies is extra loud! I have plate that I love in this place but I will call in for pick up during the week. The enchiladas are not as good as the hype in TikTok. Not at all! read more

Im all about supporting small businesses specially in my community so we decided to give this place a try. First time here, and last. Should've gone by the previous review. Walked in and the cashier didn't even greet us, she just stared so I said hello and proceeded to order, they dont have a kids menu, not good. Ordered a plain quesadilla for the kid, morisqueta, orden de tacos dorados, menudo and uchepos preparados. Let me tell you now, save your money and appetite. Uchepos were dry even with the sour cream on top just nasty. Morisqueta full order was just okay, Ive had better. Menudo was bland, no flavor whatsoever, tacos dorados were the worst, meat had no flavor either. The same girl was the cashier, server and everything else but she never sanitized her hands and kept bringing us the wrong orders. We asked for a plain glass of water and they didn't have any. Not even bottled water to purchase. The cashier went and chatted up with her friend /relative and sat there for a while which is okay to take a break but then she kept taking orders, handling money and plates and again no hand sanitization. No wonder they have a B and whats worst they prepare the food out in the open, saw a stack of meat on a table as we walked out, once I saw that I felt disgusted. Stay away and save yourself a stomachache. read more

Cashier nor very welcoming. Food not so great. Will not be back. Chicken was undercooked. The uchepos were alright my hubby got another one since we just ordered 1 to try it. It was frozen! When we were almost done, a guy came and asked if we were leaving because they needed the salsa for another table. Not sure on the other food. We got the enchilada plate. But will definitely not recommend. read more

GREAT SERVICE AND DELICIOUS FOOD You are welcomed into a clean and welcoming environment. We ordered three menudos, one quesadilla, two sodas, and one decaf coffee. I also wanted to try the agua de horchata because it is so hard to find a good agua de horchata these days, made from scratch so flavorful and refreshing! As an addition we got another menudo to go, we ordered a birria to go. I was not disappointed with the order to go, everything was separated and I was able to reach home safely. There is a new gem in South Gate! read more

Saw them on a reel and went this Sunday to try their enchiladas Michoacáns. We drove from the San Fernando Valley to South Gate and the drive was worth it. My hubby had the enchiladas with cesina and I had the shredded beef tacos with potatoes. OMG! The food was delicious and we will definitely be back with friends. The place is a hole in the wall and they do have a sign that says they're not a fast food restaurant and the food is made fresh to order so your patient is appreciate it. Food took its time to come out and that did not bother us as master pieces do take time. The cooks and service staff are hustling to make sure things keep running. If you don't mind d driving for some good home taste food or you are in the vicinity, stop by and support. read more

This place is our go to spot when we have a hankering for Michiocan tierra caliente food. The staff is supper friendly and accommodating. Its a small place but that is ok. They also have tacos and taquitos which are also good. A must try when you are in SELA. read more

If there was a kids menu I would have gave 5 stars, but there isn't. Other than that food was great. I have family from Michoacan and they were ok with the food but I think it was great. Customer service wasn't the best I've seen but they did take care of you when asked. The inside is small and can get a bit loud but you can always eat outside. We will be returning no doubt! Came here this morning. Ordered a burrito only to find a piece of plastic in it I kept on chewing thinking maybe it was a rough piece of meat. I took it out and it was a piece of hard plastic and brought it to the attention of the cashier. So disappointed with this place. Came across it on Instagram the reels looked so mouthwatering and being that my dad is from Michoacan I wanted to relive the flavors of their amazing food. I ordered the puerco en chile Rojo no flavor! I had to add the hot chile oil in spoonfuls to get a decent flavor. My boyfriend ordered the "Machaca like" plate that's made with an egg but they couldn't add an egg that I had asked for because " they don't serve breakfast " my daughter ordered tacos de papa, those were so flat as if they were counting how many spoonfuls of papa per taco almost like a quesadilla flat with a whole salad on top to cover the papa tacos. I would not go back or recommend I'm glad the other party we invited didn't show up. read more
