Authentic Mexican food is on the menu here. Mild medium or hot is your choice! something for everyone even the kids. Homemade tortillas chips are a must here, you can get some to go if you let them know. Homemade tortillas are always served with the best flavor of any burritos meats I love the fajitas meats beef and chicken and pulled pork or whatever you like added to your lunch or dinner.,Spanish rice is always good here too. Flavor just right I usually add a little bit of hot sauce to it to make it more spicy . Sop papilla's are good here, I have never had any with the rice meal because I am always too full after eating the larger portions of the meals. You can go to get some coffee and order the Sopillias and ice cream with your papilla's is a favorite of mine too! Family's atmosphere is so good waitstaff is so friendly and helpful too. Our fav stop when passing through. Breakfast all day!!! Good strong coffee and friendly staff! Yummy guacamole! Fresh chips n salsa.

We got seated and they brought us chips. Over the next 20 minutes we asked 3 different waitresses if we could get drinks and order. Each one just looked at us like we had smallpox. after 20 minutes a group was seated next to us was given drinks and was able to order. Not us. We still had no drinks had not ordered. We finally just got up and left. FYI we don't have smallpox's. The food looked good if you can manage to get it. read more

We decided to have a nice family meal and we ordered. When it came out there was a roach on my avocado. We were still waiting for my dads meal and when it came out it was a very thin steak that didn't look very appetizing. I do not recommend coming here at all. read more

Full order of fajita chicken quesadillas come with 2 chicken fajitas, sour cream, guacamole, and rice and beans for 9.99. I ordered a 1/2 order of chicken quesadillas, sub rice and beans with fries (which waiter said was fine) and paid $14.35. They decided since ordered a 1/2 to charge me for everything separately which cost a lot more. Hey waiter next time a heads up and say hey it's cheaper to order full order and just throw away what you aren't going to eat. Wow.. is this well the best Lamesa has? Service was sub par.... food was average at best. Here's the deal... I sat there for 30 mins after being serve and had stop someone and ask about my check. No one asked me if I wanted anything else. Nothing... all I heard from the staff was how they compared themselves to IHOP. Now get this. They don't bring a check to table. You must walk to the counter and let try to figure out which ticket is yours. I hate to blow this place up... but WOW. Not coming back. read more

Stopped by to have late lunch with my wife. Place is clean and waitresses friendly. I had the menudo which was Luke warm so lost flavor. Very little hominy. Good authentic Mexican food (I like Tex Mex but I love authentic Mexican food better-this was real. There were 3 of us-we ordered one order of the "Parrdilla Tropical" ---grilled shrimp, grilled chicken, grilled onions, peppers, grilled pineapple, slices of avocado, tortilla (corn and flour-i like corn)--pico, beans, sour cream and guac---(think fajitas) the order was a single order and all three of us walked away full! Authentic Jalisco style mexican food which happens to taste incredible! I ordered the Fajitas Jalisco which is a blend of chicken, shrimp and beef served on a bed of grilled veggies burnt to perfection. When it arrived at the table I was sure she was mistaken and had given me the Fajitas for two. (I'm mexican but only know the bad words in Spanish) Fortunately for the ol wallet this was not the case. Massive portion for the price! Did I mention it was tasty as hell? They had waitresses who spoke English and ours probably did too...I just happened to be with my good buddy who is the darkest mexican alive so I just listened while he ordered and made small talk. I only give this restaurant one star and that is because I have to give one star before Yelp will let me comment. I ordered fajitas the waiter brought me paper thin meat-It was not skirt steak. I asked for my beans in a bowl. He did not serve them in a bowl. I ordered guacamole-never got It. I had to request a tea refill and my waiter with the man bun took my glass, walked away and proceeded to text on his phone for five minutes then he sat my glass down and fumbled with the salsa before he finely remembered to refill my tea. Maybe if he loosened the bun a little the blood would flow to his brain and he could get at least one thing correct. In the past I have recommended this restaurant to other oil field truck drivers, Now I will tell them this place cannot satisfy a hungry and thirsty driver. The service I received tonight was not worthy of one star. This restaurant usually makes twenty to thirty dollars off of my patronage. They lost my business. read more

We stop here every year traveling from New Mexico to Texas. Everything is SO GOOD. The chips and salsa are perfect. Not too spicy. Chips tastes homemade. The cheese enchiladas were great. My husband had the skirt steak and said the flavor was very good. You won't regret stopping here. read more
