I lived at Tapestry Long Farm with my husband for three years (2019 - 2022). When we first moved in, we loved it, the dog park was terrific, and we formed a fantastic community of dog owners so the dogs could socialize. The pool was always on point, the gym and office space were excellent, and in general, everyone was friendly, and there were no challenges. However, if you want to move here, please take the time to read my story below; you may change your mind. Segway to Spring 2020, yes, the COVID Pandemic was in full swing; however, life started getting beyond awful. There were constant challenges with the valet garbage pickup, which they charge you $30 a month for in your lease. The trash compactor is always broken, leaving residents nowhere to place garbage; keep in mind that there's a single compactor for a 250+ -unit property. After almost an entire week of the trash not being picked up, I let the property manager know, and this wasn't my first time informing the office, for her to only tell me "I can't help the past" in a highly snide attitude. From that point forward, I had the cell number of Valet Living's regional manager, Nick, saved in my phone and had to use it on many occasions to have my garbage picked up. Now let's talk about pets; yes, I have one and pick it up after him. However, many other owners don't, and they aren't fined for it or said anything. It's to the point where I have to wash my dog's paws after nearly every walk because he steps in poop. You complain about this, and nothing gets done. They threaten to fine residents but never do. The apartments look great when they show you the model apartment, but if your neighbor closes their cabinet doors too hard, their dog runs across the floor upstairs, or the neighbor across the hall closes their door, you'll know. The floor tiles peel up all over, and they know! They didn't even offer to glue down the vinyl flooring as a temporary solution in my month of complaining. The ultimate fix was riddled with abhorrent timing and miscommunication between the movers they hired, the flooring company, and the office staff. It took over a month of complaining and me finally stating that it's a safety hazard for them to fix the floors. The breakers had to get replaced, but that took me telling them three times. The third time I had to say to the manager that if any of my electronics were damaged from the constant breaker flipping, it would be their insurance to cover it, not my renter's insurance, as I've reported the challenge a few times. The Now let's move on to general safety issues. To increase occupancy, nearly anyone was allowed to move in without a background check. Between Fall 2020 and the summer of 2022, the following occurred: A SWAT team raided for drugs in the unit above me. Yes, there were drugs found, but not to get into that. However, eight officers with automatic weapons charging up your stairwell at 8 am isn't the best thing to wake up to An attempted armed robbery Multiple instances of car tires being slashed (all 4 of them), one time during the day! Cars are broken into constantly License plates were stolen off of vehicles Cars are left on blocks constantly Building lights would not come on after dark due to a broken sensor. My neighbors or I would have to call after-hour maintenance for them to turn them on manually. Couldn't they have done that before leaving for the day so they wouldn't have to be contacted in a few hours? Security lights were out for months. They lie and say, "Entergy has to fix it, and they have something scheduled with them to come out." knowing it isn't them. It took me calling the new owner, Passco, to have them fixed. The biggest thing is this is just on the side of the complex I live in; just imagine what happens on the other side. In 2021 a new "Liability Waiver Program" was put in place by Arlington Properties, the management company. Yet again, another $10 fee on top of your rent for you to give them for the already exorbitant price you pay for a supposed luxury apartment which is nothing more than a pig with lipstick. I'm sure the complex manager or property company will attempt to say that they are sorry for my challenges. However, the weekend I moved out and most of the summer of 2022, the pool was out of order. The pool furniture was a joke, and the dog park had holes dug all over without any attempt to fill (yes, I complained several times). You will probably pay more to live at Tapestry than anywhere else. If you've made it this far in my review and still want to move in, take my advice; always request maintenance, report issues, or submit questions via email. Have proof of your challenges like myself, and hold them accountable. If you have a conversation with someone, follow it up with an email.

My partner and I were residents at Highland Club for four years. Our first two years were positive,…read morethanks to Samantha's management--great staff, a nice property, and a good experience overall. But everything changed when new management took over, and it was downhill from there. Starting in 2022, we had ongoing issues with our AC unit that would freeze, flood, and stop working, causing the temperature in our apartment to soar to the mid-to-upper 80s during the summer. This was not only uncomfortable but also dangerous, especially for our dog who was left at home. We submitted 17 work orders for the same issue between March 2022 and July 2024. 17 work orders for the same issue! The maintenance team has informed the front office multiple times that this issue was above their expertise but management never treated it as a priority. The situation reached a breaking point when the AC unit flooded so badly that water leaked from the ceiling onto our furniture, leaving a piece of the ceiling hanging unfixed until we moved out. Despite these ongoing frustrations, we still wanted to stay due to our attachment to the unit and renewed our lease early in late July. Our lease was confirmed on August 7, 2024. But on September 8, we received an abrupt email saying our lease agreement was canceled with no explanation or follow-up. September was chaotic for us--we were dealing with two weddings and a funeral--and with no communication from the office, we assumed we had no choice but to move out when our lease ended on October 30. We ended up spending over $1,500 on moving supplies and services. On October 28, just two days before our lease was set to end, we visited the leasing office to ask about move-out requirements and were blindsided when they told us the lease cancellation email was a mistake. Apparently, other tenants had called the office to correct similar errors, but nobody in the office reached out to clarify the mistake. By then, it was far too late to cancel our movers or change our plans. To add insult to injury, management claimed we broke the lease without giving 60 days' notice and slapped us with over $5,000 in charges for early termination. When we tried to dispute this, Shelly, the new leasing manager, but the phone conversation end in a heated argument where said she "wasn't about to argue with us" and informed us that the charges would be sent to collections. While the units and property at Highland Club are nice, the current management is unprofessional, rude, and shows zero regard for their residents' well-being. Our last two to three years there were a nightmare. I cannot recommend this property under its current management, 0/10.
