I found this chinese restaurant and i was not expecting new york style chinese food. My cousing and i went into this restaurant and my first impression was that a menu with similar names as i know the chinese dishes. One of the suggestions was to order for 165 pesos diner that included soup, appetizer, fried rice and two dishes. One of the dishes was mugo gai pan and the second was chop suey. Chop suey? What ? Served in Mexico? I may be wrong but that is not an original chinese dish. The food was ok. Old style chinese food from the late 60s early 70s. The dishes include some vegetables not of chinese origin. Like jicama was used on the mugo gai pan. No water chesnuts. No tea was offered only sodas and beer and fruit of the day style flavored drink. The food was plentiful. A lot. 4 people can eat on these dishes. I would comeback to try other items on the menu. Overall the table service was ok nothing extraordinary. Food had an old fashion style flavore which to me is interesting. read more
