I loved the hair cut Abby gave me. The salon was clean. I loved the hair products she used on my hair and she gave me samples, but the Oribe products are pricey. She really did a nice job massaging my head while washing my hair. I got a discount for being a first time customer. I will go back for another haircut when I can afford it. Absolutely Amazing Abbie!! I went in today after not coloring my hair since 2020 . Many have went the way of au natural since the pandemic. I truly tried to embrace my grey but unfortunately I'm not one who grey compliments, it just made me looked washed out & much older. Came here to get a blow out. I wasn't in the mood to do it myself. I got Giselle and she was the nicest easiest person to talk to. The salon was very nice and modern and clean. Giselle did a great job even with my ends being very dry and brittle yet her shampoo and blow out left my hair super soft and shiny. So much so I can totally notice it even 2 days later. ( yes made that blow out last). They offer tea, coffee, champagne and wine which is a very nice touch and give you samples when you check in on Yelp. I will definitely be back. $40 plus tip. My daughter had her hair cut by Andy. When I called I asked for someone who knew curly hair because I didn't want her hair to look like a mushroom. We get there and Andy is really nice but he paid no attention to what we asked for. I asked for long layers and showed him two pictures and we settled on one. I told him not short because my daughters face is round and shorter hair accentuates the fullness of her face and we didn't want short. Well to my surprise it was cut quite short and while my daughter is happy that the dead hair is gone I myself, also a curly head, would not get my hair cut with him because I would be afraid of not getting what I asked for and what every curly head dreads - too short hair which is even shorter when it dries! My daughter is fine with the cut even though it's not anywhere near what she wanted. Reply to Andy: Hi - this was a year ago I'm surprised you remember. I found this salon off of Oribe hair products. As they're the only products that my hair virgin very long mane responds to. I have gone to a few other oribe salons looking for home for my mane, I have been disappointed with their hair stylists not achieving my desired hair cut: dry haircut to trim the unhealthy parts off along its natural grow line (my hair naturally grows in different lengths for a natural rounded layer).... I've gotten stylists cutting it all one length with a blunt just cut look (cutting off way more than needed in some areas and not going with the natural shape of the hair). Others using razors to give wispy ends that cause my hair to have split ends within a week to achieve the natural rounded look... neither of what I had requested... Next up was Tangles Salon on my Oribe Salons list... definitely WAAYYY cheaper for a hair cut from a master stylists, huge plus! Then I met Andy (mast stylist and owner) recommended for my dry haircut request from the receptionist booking my appointment... He did an amazing job!!! He cut my hair in steps, first wash and wet cut for the base layer trim of for sure cutting off two inches of dead hair then proceeded to blow dry and use dry shears to cut my natural hair line and give it that natural look. Also convinced me to add a little frame to my natural front layers....HE NAILED IT!!!! I got exactly what I've been looking for. It's been a week and my mane is doing amazing!!! No split ends from razors or blunt ends.... he's also soo sweet he really helped out with further info on Oribe products and recommendations and samples (since he could tell I'm Oribe obsessed with all the products I owned prior to my appointment). The best info I've gotten vs. being told only about Oribe's newest products other salons push for sales number etc he actually stuck to my mane's real needs and only told me about those things that would better it, not for just sales of new products like I've experienced with other salons (working in retail and after bouncing around stylists you're able to start comparing) read more

This review is only for the customer service treatment I got a few days ago. My friend had a hair apt. and asked me if I wanted to tag along - I said yeah let's go because I might like to get a massage while I'm waiting for you to get your hair done. I know they have massage services because I saw it on their website, which BTW says "walk-ins welcome". The lady at the front desk said there are no message therapists on site now but she would call one and see if one could come in, I said ok - knowing that my friend's hair apt. was going to be at least 2 hours (cut, wash, dye, etc.) Just let me know. I sat in the waiting area, waiting and waiting and waiting for word from the receptionist about whether I'm getting a massage or not. Nothing. When I approached her, she wouldn't look up. I went over to my friend who was now in the middle of having her hair done and said I've waited 30 min., this sucks so I'll be waiting at the Starbucks down the street. I don't like being treated like this. Never coming again. read more

This is a place I am coming from past six months, and the hair designer is superb. My biggest problem here is a sense of time on the pre-scheduled appointment. It's almost every time I have to wait for another 30~45 minutes. It's the issue at scheduling appointment in time. "I am sorry" doesn't help me with the 40min lost every time - Please be respectful about your customers time. It's an expensive place, and I hope you value the time for your customers. read more

I came here for a Baylage color. I had taken the time to grow out my hair to its natural root color and decided that I would have the ends lightened a bit. The lady seemed extremely confident that she could get the colors that I was looking to get. It took about 4 hours and I was in there until very late at night. The stylist left the bottom foils on the ENTIRE time as the top level.I could feel bleach getting a little dry, but I trusted that she knew what she was doing... The color ended up being pretty Brassy and Orange in the end and cost $200. She curled it to make it look decent when I left, but I had no idea that half of my hair actually got burnt off on the bottom and it was spotty bleach in the back. I looked like Patches the dog...After about month of not being able to stand my hair color and constantly wearing it up I looked into getting my hair fixed. It wasnt until I went into the salon and had pictures taken of my actual hair that I realized just how poorly the service had been performed. It cost me about $450 bucks to fix all of the spotted bleach in my hair and get my hair back to a somewhat healthy feel. Id highly suggest avoiding here, and doing your research before booking and spending the money.
