This salon is wonderful! When I was looking for a new stylist, I saw Tangles had a stellar rating on Yelp so I thought I'd give them a try and I've never been happier! They definitely have earned their rating with their friendly attitude, and that goes for all the stylists! The atmosphere is down-to-earth and fun; definitely no snooty salon vibes here. Brenda Marti does an incredible job on my hair every time no matter what I've thrown at her, and that's been everything from bright pink to silver and black! She's almost intuitive, she knows exactly what I want and need, and she's always so great to work with. She makes you feel at home and is so kind! I also got beautiful lash extensions from the amazing Ashley Hewitt for the first time in my life and now I swear by them! I know what I'm getting my best friend for the holidays- a gift certificate for lash extensions by Ashley! All in all, I would recommend this place to any and everybody. It's family-friendly, too, and the ladies are great with kids. You can go there knowing you're in the best, top-notch professional hands and get treated like you deserve, with kindness and attention to your needs. You can make a long-term relationship with your stylists there as it's a wonderful salon to call your "own"! read more

Was hoping that things would have went better, but my son is so upset about his hair cut. Based on reviews, and who was available, I chose Valentina to cut his hair. She was really nice, but she ignored what he had told her about leaving the back length alone. And I'm not sure she really knew how to do texturing he wanted. Saying he had a Justin Bieber haircut didn't make things any better. read more

If you want to go blonde Kim is your go to person. She's the best! I highly recommend her and she will always try to squeeze you in if you have last min hair emergency. read more

Came into a salon of 8-9 people and only 1 person (customers friend) was wearing a mask. 3 to 4 employees and none were masked - 3 of them working on customers in close proximity. I went here pre COVID and had a good experience. Chose to skip my appointment today because of the risks. Just FYI for anyone wondering about masking practices here! read more

MacKenzie was wonderful! She was so kind and accommodating from the moment I walked in. I was needing a change so badly and she made me feel awesome. My hair was long and limp and tangly and by the time I left it was a bit shorter, bouncy and shiny and she styled it so well. I will definitely be returning to her in the future and will be recommending her to everyone I know! read more

I can not say enough about this place. I have seen Valentina twice so far and this young lady knows hair. She can read your hair. The first cut was amazing. The 2nd was even more amazing. She takes her time and it is all about you when you are in her chair. I have not had my hair colored by her yet but I have seen her work, no words! It is amazing! Looking forward to her coloring my hair. read more

I never like to spend money on myself but lately I'm trying this new "investing in myself" thing. Being a mom of 4 is a lot so time to myself is a rarity. I scheduled to get my hair done and when I got there, they took another client in my place and had me wait until someone was available. I waited patiently but felt like maybe it was a sign I shouldn't do my hair. After an hour of waiting, Alicia had me come and sit in her chair and she worked wonders! I truly am beyond grateful for her. She did amazing with my highlights. Went from brunette to blonde! She is definitely my new go-to person from here on out! There's a reason why things happen! I believe it's because my hair wouldn't have been what I wanted had I not gone to her! Super personable and friendly! Request her if you're looking for someone who can color and cut exactly how you want! read more

I have been going to Tangles Hair Studio for over 2 years now, it's time to give them a 5 star rating. I love my stylist Paula, as well as the clean salon! The owner Alicia takes pride in her salon, and has a friendly personality to go with it! I originally was referred to Paula by a fellow co-worker who has beautiful hair. I made an appointment via their internet service. It gave times and price range of services, it's fast and easy to use. It even gives you text and email reminder the day before your next appointment too! Paula's knowledge of color is amazing and she knows what is best and works with what you want. I am so happy to have her. She knows my hair and I come out beautiful everytime. Thank you Tangles Hair Studio Staff!! read more

Went to Tangles Hair Studio this past Thursday after booking an appointment online! How awesome is that? That alone sets Tangles apart from many other salons. It can be hard to get ahold of some hairstylists to figure out a time that works for both parties, which alone can be time consuming, all before waiting for an opening. I found an opening that matched my needs for a stylist I wanted in minutes. I chose Brenda because she had good reviews and I was not disappointed! She is very knowledgeable, great at her job, and was able to create the look I wanted with a minimal idea of what I actually wanted. I mentioned some colors and layers. I had an idea in my head but I didn't have to verbalize it anymore than that. She is down to earth and not the "upitty" type so we got along great. I will definitely be going back to Brenda for all my hair needs. I felt sorry for her going in because my hair is super thick, it was long, and a mess! I thought she'd have to spend all day fixing it but she did an amazing job in a shorter than expected amount of time with a complete rat's nest! 5 stars all day! Also, the salon was really laid back but professional and from the work I saw around me, they are all really good stylists at good prices! read more

Alicia was able to get me in for an "emergency" color fix. My hair got really messed up at another salon (it was really bad) and I was desperate to get it fixed before the weekend was over. Nelson was able to fit me into his schedule and he did an awesome job correcting the color disaster from the other salon. He was so kind and patient and fun to chat with. My hair color was all evened out and I had a cute new cut when I left. I am SO grateful for both Alicia and Nelson for saving my hair before I had to go back to work! read more

Raquel is amazing!! She is always ready for a challenge. She is very knowledgeable and explains in detail what will work best. I see Mackenzie every 4-6 weeks now! She does an amazing job at a much better price than several salons I've been to. She's fun to talk to and she makes sure I get my hair done exactly how I like it. I get bright colors in my hair a lot and she is great at blending colors. I'd definitely reccomend her! I've seen her do both short and long hair cuts beautifully. read more

I went to tangles for the first time today and had a great experience! I really liked my stylist (Mackenzie), too. She was really fun to be around and did such a wonderful job. I love my haircut and I will definitely be making appointments with her in the future to maintain the style. read more

First visit last week went great! Used the online booking tool to make a next day appointment for a full color & cut. Super easy & convenient. Me'Lisa was an awesome stylist! She gave me exactly what I asked for, was easy to talk to and all the stylists made me feel welcome & comfortable. Nice atmosphere, AMAZING value, will definitely be back. read more

Walked in to make an appointment for a hair cut and was never acknowledged by even one stylist. There was no one at the front desk only a sign-in sheet. After about 10 minutes walked out and went directly to another salon where I was treated with respect and within one minute. I guess Tangles does not need the business...no stars! read more

After researching different salons (I am pretty picky with my haircuts...have had a few duds) I decided to go with Tangles since it had so many great reviews. I was not let down!! Sarah Reed cut and styled my hair today and it came out fantastic! I was greeted right away, checked in and was offered something to drink while I waited. I only sat there for a couple min. and it was my turn. Sarah asked what I wanted and did exactly what I asked. Everyone there was very friendly, it was clean and all the customers came out with great styles. I will become a regular there! read more

I booked my appointment for Nelson through the YELP app. It was super easy to do. Nelson is wonderful! I haven't lived in the area for long and he has lived in Moore most of his life. He recommend local restaurants and different places for me to go. The small talk was great and so was the haircut. I just got a trim and my layers shaped up. I left with my hair looking much healthier and feeling lighter. Nelson is experienced and kind. I recommend booking with him! read more

I booked an appointment online in the morning before they opened and arrived about 20 minutes early. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a very friendly and professional greeting. The woman advised the stylist I had an appointment with that I was there and she came right up to get me. Raquel is the stylist I booked with since she had the first available opening. She was very sweet and listened to what I wanted. She did a great job and respected my concerns! I will definitely be a returning customer! read more

Makenzie has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 5 mos now. I went in as a walk in and she has been my stylist ever since then. She does a great job and makes sure it's how you like it before you leave. She is great and I recommend you give her a try read more

Worst hair experience.of my life. I walked in showed a picture of a blonde and red hair style.... 3 HOURS later I walked out with hot pink hair and in tears. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK read more

Loved my haircut by Melissa! Didn't care that I had to have cash on hand for tip. But overall a good experience.

Went to see Melisa and she was absolutely wonderful. Live my hair, so glad I found her.

Everyone is really friendly and full of energy. And unlike a lot of salons they don't gossip about each other which is refreshing. Alicia has always done my color and cut the way I wanted. The pricing is reasonable and I would recommend this salon. read more

This is a great salon in their first year. The stylists are friendly and supportive of their customers. I always hear stylists asking what the customer wants. My stylist Alicia, also the owner, always double checks with me about my choices and desires. I get my hair colored and cut each month, and when I said I wanted more red she asked if I was sure. Then, she carefully asked how much red, and how I wanted it to look. I really appreciate stylists who ask before doing and focus on their customers. The prices are reasonable and there are enough stylists available to accommodate your needs even as a walk-in. I also like the celebratory attitude of this shop because they often work to celebrate with staff and customers so this is a happy place. read more
