Anyone looking for a great family law attorney needs to check out Nathan Hacker. This guy by far is…read morethe best. He is very detailed oriented, knows his stuff frontwards and backwards, and if you are anything like me and find yourself in this extremely difficult situation of fighting to remain an active father in your child's life you want someone who will give you a game plan. As long as you follow your attorney's advice and are honest with everything (even if you were wrong about something) he can formulate a game plan and be prepared for anything the opposing counsel will throw your way. Even when I was super nervous going into court and worried about certain things that would come up, including lies my ex was stating he assured me we had this under control. I've read some reviews about people complaining about the $100 consultation fee. Believe me, that is going to be the best $100 you ever spend. As knowledgeable as Nate and his team are, trust me, you are in excellent hands. You won't be leaving a ton of messages trying to get ahold of Nate or Sarah (his paralegal) either. I know people dread spending money when it comes to these things, but if you are going to spend it I cannot stress enough that this is where you need to go. I'm a dad who is very involved in his little girls life and when it came time to put some money on the books I never dreaded it because I knew they were working hard and not just creating things to bill you for. These guys are honest and will definitely fight for you. I think we all know how the system tends to favor the mothers, I don't think I would have gotten a better outcome with any other attorney out there. I was satisfied with how my 2 year battle ended and I think it was fair on both sides. Remember going into this, there will be times where you have to give and take with your ex, please just always keep your child's interest at the forefront of your dealings with them. Nate and his team will guide you and will definitely let you know to knock certain things off if you're in the wrong and trust me, that is EXACTLY what you want. If for any other reason I need an attorney for family law or anything else, based off of my experience I will certainly be calling them, and will refer anyone who needs the help to go to this firm.

From the moment I reached out through a brief online questionnaire, he responded personally, promptly, and without charging a fee. His guidance helped me understand my auto accident insurance situation and gave me the clarity I needed to move forward. That level of genuine care is rare. What makes Mr. Christie stand out even more is his integrity and compassion beyond the legal field. He recently assisted law enforcement in identifying and helping stop an individual who was harming animals in the community. I can't say enough good things about Joe! He was a tremendous help with a civil matter I needed…read moretaken care of in Indianapolis. I searched online high and low for a lawyer and Joe was the only attorney who gave me hope and made me feel secure with what I was doing (maybe because he's also a native NY'er and he just understood me). While other lawyers I spoke to actually discouraged me from going forward Joe was the only one who made me feel like I could do this and win. He told me ALL of the options available to me, even how I could take care of this on my own and avoid paying an attorney. I knew that I wouldn't have the patience to handle this myself so I hired him. I was able to conveniently make my retainer payment online and he always sent me a detailed breakdown of what he was doing and charging for. He was very clear from the beginning what his fee was and what I can expect and nothing changed. There were never any surprise fees or overcharges. I never felt like I was being taken for a run which some lawyers can do. Throughout the whole time (which has taken almost an entire year), Joe communicated with me via phone and email and always kept me in the loop on what was going on. I did fly to Indianapolis and got the chance to meet him in person and he was just as nice and pleasant as he had been over phone and email. Again, always explaining the process and what was happening and what I could expect. He has a very calming way about him that always made me feel at ease. I had a favorable outcome and I know it was due to his diligent work and his knowledge for his profession. I would HIGHLY recommend Joe to anyone that could benefit from his services.
