I have been tanning here on and off for a couple of years now. simply put I moved here from Denver. the tanning salon I tanned out in Denver is the official tan of the Denver, NFL football team cheerleaders. The bed is there are fire superior. But it's Rapid City South Dakota wheee criminals are criminals, and so is the sheriffs department. The owner here is a blessing. the staff here is a blessing. Go get a tan, take a nap, spend some money with people. support a local business with some really nice staff. You'll get a tan, the world won't care. I must say when your in South Dakota you feel you may need to tan, because there weather is so sporadic you never know what you gonna get even in the summer time. I think this one of the best options in town and the newest and cleanest. You also don't need a contract which is good, because when you traveling out of town you may want a place to go to and that is perfect for that. There beds are hot, so make sure you spike down your tan minutes you don't want to burn that pretty little face of yours, because really that is not a good look! read more

If this place wasn't so clean and nice for tanning....I would surely go somewhere else. The only reason for the three stars is because it seems to be the nicest place in town to tan - otherwise it would be pushing it to even get one. Ive recently moved to the area and started tanning, bought a package, etc., which i hadnt done much of before, so I don't know a lot about it. I've been to both locations on W. Main and E. Saint Pat - and had the same experience with the desk staff at both locations. They were rude, and was very put out that I had asked a few questions, i.e. how long I should tan with fair skin and my first few times tanning. The girls who work there when I've been in there seem young, high school or collage age. One girl at the E. Saint Pat location seem to be put out that she had to interrupt her personal phone call on her cell phone to help me...it wasn't very busy...there may have been maybe 1 or 2 other people in there tanning. When I walked away to my tanning bed, I heard her say to the person on the other end....I'm sorry, I had someone walk in. And then even more put out when I came back to ask another question about the bed I hadn't used before....again...an interruption to her personal phone call & aggravated she had to answer my question. I'll go back to get my money's worth from my package....but certainly not the most customer oriented business nor helpful. read more
