So let me start by saying we began looking for a pet sitter just thinking anyone would do. The first one we had come over and interact with the cats had no idea how to to interact with cat.... they came in very loud laughing and trying to be social with us rather then connecting with our cats. Everyone of our cats ran away from them. At least two of our cats are super social, so after that encounter I was a little worried about who might watch them. I called Shawna and she got back to me right away and agreed to come and meet them that day. Well when Shawna came over she did everything right, she didn't come in looking to find every cat and pet them. She sat down and we talked about what we needed done with the cats and how they are in general. She ended up staying an hour and a half and throughout that time every one of our cats gave their approval, even the one who doesn't like anyone! Now we felt like we could go on vacation and not worry :) Since the cats go out and in every morning and night, we wanted them to keep to their schedule and Shawna was spot on the entire time. She sent pictures of everyone of the cats whenever she got to the house, and waited every night till they all came home. Shawna is now our cat sitter for any vacation or travel that we do. When we got home they were all very relaxed and happy sleeping in their usual places and very happy to see us. Another thing to note was after we left I had decided to add on a few visits midday so the cats wouldn't get too lonely, Shawna had no problems coming those extra times on such a short notice. Our regular pet sitter cancelled at the last minute with three days before us leaving for Christmas to visit family called several places that were either booked or would not even return my calls then we stumbled across Shawn and tampaws she answered the first time I called and said she could squeeze us in her schedule what a relief Shawn was great we were gone 9 days and everything was perfect she sent us pics and updates also did I mention we have six animals our 3 dogs are also on a raw diet which can be challenging as they all get different size portions we were happy to find out that she was familiar with the diet and our dogs were fed exactly like they were supposed to not to mention the nice feeling of coming home to a Christmas card from Shawn which was definately above and beyond we were very satisfied and so were our babies we will absolutely be using her for our upcoming vacations and I will never look elsewhere thank you so much Shawn and the price wasn't bad either actually less what I have paid in the past thanks again Shawn and we will see you in a few months Alex and Stephanie Wesley chapel read more

Shawna picked up our 3 pugs and took them to her home to care for them while we were away. We are so thrilled with the service she provided! She really took the time to talk to us and understand our 'babies' needs. We had some medical concerns and she really helped us understand our best options for care and even helped get the medicine we needed at a much more affordable cost. When she brought them home, bathed and happy, they just kept going to her for petting and attention. That's how I know they had a good time and were well cared for and loved! I think they would have been happy to jump right back in her car and go on a another doggie vacation! That's really what it was .... a doggie vacation! Because they had such a blast and we could relax knowing they were in such good hands! We will DEFINITELY call Shawna anytime we need pet care in the future! It has been such a blessing to have discovered Tampaws to take care of my babies, Bella and Daisy whenever I travel or when I will be away from home for a long day. I have used their services several times. Shawn has always been available to get to my house whenever I need her to, even with short notice. The best thing is that my dogs love Shawn. She is very experienced and knowledgeable and has a very caring heart for animals. She is very detail oriented with the information she gathered about each of my babies and my home during the initial meet and greet, which I was very impressed with. Just came home from a week vacation over the Christmas holiday and couldn't have asked for a better situation when I made a call to Tampaws Pet care (Shawn). With about no notice Tampaws and Shawn took in my two pups Lady and Boss for the week and gave them the temporary home they needed to make me feel comfortable. I went to a couple other Kennles for boarding and didn't like the restrictions they offered and was assured my dogs would get the attention they need and deserve. If you are like me, your faith in anyone taking care of your pet is very little to the point where i don't even travel unless my fur baby can come along. All I prayed for is that I got my pet back the same as they went in. With Tampaws, my puppy dog came back better than when she went in. Made me wonder what the heck am I doing wrong as a pet parent lol. Tampaws is very friendly, accommodating and priced reasonably. Tampaws believes in a family home environment rather than Kennel style boarding so your dog never sets foot in a cage (unless requested for crate training) I highly recommend!!! read more

Tampaws is a fantastic service at the tip of your fingers. Shawn the owner is so on top of everything you and your fur babies might and do need. She is on time, reliable and able to do medical issues as well as just walking, feeding and loving your babies. I will never have anyone else to take care of my babies . I was in a tight jam over the Thanksgiving holiday! Luckily i found an ad for Tampaws. After arranging a meet and greet with the owner i felt confident that my dog Mr Tyson would be in great hands. I had the best experience with Shawna she is so knowledgeable, and patient, and treated all five of my dogs like her own I was so impressed. Awesome experience. I had to leave for a trip for business and my pug had an ear and skin infection and needed a lot of attention and medication. Shawn watched Mickey (cat) over the course of the week and everything worked out perfectly. She sent texts when I asked for them, and the house was in order when I got home. Probably the worst pet care service in Hillsborough County the place is filthy and you can tell the owner doesn't care about cleanliness or hygiene of the pets she is sitting. I wouldn't place my worst enemy's dog here. read more
