So I haven't been here since I was a little kid. My sister used to bring me as a little tiny little girl when she would get her nails done. I would sit on the side and look at the magazines on the table. I am now 35 years old and I finally decided to do something for myself and I took myself here to Tammie's because the last few times that I have tried to get my nails done elsewhere . It's been a horror show. I promise you I have not one complaint. I loved every single part of my visit there Danny took me in ASAP. Mimi did my feet amazing the visual I gave Danny he only glimpse at it once and was able to re-create what I wanted to the T and there were no imperfections in my nails whatsoever. Made an appointment for a fill at 5:30pm, got there at 5:28pm they said someone would be with me in a minute, waited until 6:12pm because and I quote "I'm sorry we forgot about you". Finally got in the chair, showed a picture of what I wanted, but didn't exactly get it. I might try this place a second time but not too sure yet. I asked if they book appointments (my last nail place did but they closed due to covid and I've been going there for the last two years every 2-3 weeks) and they said call the day of. Good luck if Danny schedules you. Ask for Nina to schedule you or make sure he tells the nail tech or passes phone to them. He's bad with communicating with the other nail techs about when you're coming in. He's done this multiple times. If you don't mind waiting past the time he tells you to come in it's worth the work Nina, Lam, Melissa and him provide. They'll have you sit in the chair waiting also for them just so they won't loose your business but come on I called and asked if she was free, this has to stop. Very frustrating to be waiting 10+ minutes when you have an appointment and came in on time or early. I guess I'll be going back to my old shop if this continues. read more

If I could I'd give this place a -5. this is the worst nail job I've ever gotten. I went on Dec. 9. Got my gel set did and when the lady was done I noticed my nails had bumps because of the nail polish. Oh BTW my nails are supposed to be coffin shaped idk wtf this lady did. I tried asking them to fix it and all they did was try to file them for 3 seconds and nothing changed they told me nothing could be done. All I know is that I will NEVER go back to this salon again and I DO NOT recommend it. I've had bad experiences at other nail salons, I've come out with cuts, badly painted nails, and terrible service. But they are just so nice here! I always use to go to tammies nail but after my last visit I will make sure not to go ever again. I hate to say this because i love everybody there and this is the first time this happens to me this but I got an infection on my toe a week after going there. My toe had hurt really bad once i left but took a week to get infected. Hopefully i can get my money back. Im not sure if it was from an ingrown nail being teared to hard or dirty tools. read more

I need to have short nails because I'm a student still doing online classes and I work in an office. I came in with a request to do this really pretty design pictured below, but to have the nails be shorter. I kept asking Danny to go shorter, and he told me there would be no room for the design. They do not have the tools needed for intricate nail art, and they make you feel stupid for expecting them to. The second picture is what he did--he chose the colors for me while I was washing my hands and was annoyed when I asked him if I could choose. I was unhappy with the result so I called and asked if I could have them re-done. He said yes, but when I came back today, he told me the same thing: that the design was impossible on my short nails. I went to the place across the street and they were able to fit the design onto a smaller canvas perfectly. Not only are they rude, the work is messy. I've been going there for almost a year and have had to put up with little specks and hairs being cemented into the acrylic, which bothered me. My family lives in Panorama City and this place is one of the closest to their house so whenever I need a pedicure I come here. I'm always able to walk in and although they are busy I never wait more than 10-15 minutes. Note that you get what you pay for. This place is nothing to bag about and they don't particularly do anything special but they aren't horrible either. Some things to note: - Your pedicure will last about 20-25 minutes- nice and quick if you are in a hurry but will disappoint you if you're wanting to take their sweet time. They are busy so I'm sure they are looking to turn customers around quick. - No name brand polishes in the story. I've been coming here since I was 14. This place is my go-to nail spot. I do not let anyone touch my nails besides , Lin , Nina or Danny. I've gone to other nail locations, but it's just not the same. I Highly recommend Lin, doing your nails and eyebrows. Lin does an amazing job. She always knows what I want. Whether it's coffin, simple square, short or almond, she does the job well done. Lin is also my wax girl. I don't have anyone else who does my eyebrows like her. She keeps them looking fierce. Lam does my pedis all the time. She's the only one who is even allowed to touch my feet. No one else!! Highly recommend her.. Every single time I call, whether I got an appt or not and show up as a walk-in, I'm taken in right away. I'm treated like a Queen here & I love it!! And when I wanted to choose color or even to tell her how I wanted my nails she had an attitude. It was super painful. She acted like I was some random person off of the street but I tipped her well anyways. So sad that this happened to me. She even left pieces of skin on my fingers and the nails weren't filed right. All i wanted was a manicure and acrylic overlay on my natural nail so not what happened. Not only did I have clumps of acrylic underneath a few of my nails but they were not rounded off more like rounded to the side and when she finally admit she couldn't do an overlay a man stepped in to make then a bit rounder. After 10+ years of going to my nail lady i made the choice to try Tammies. I was paired up with Blan anf Helen. They were so nice and understanding. I had gotten powder dipped nails and a nail flipped off today and i noticed a green spot. I showed Helen and we decided to rip off all the nails, thank god. A few of my nails had a green spot.
