If that's not your thing, I fully understand; I don't think foxes and bunnies should die to clothe us, either. But if you're into that and don't want to pay thousands, Sylvian Heach is where you go. The store experience is also something else. The more pricy items are supposedly on the ground floor - quite opposite Zara, which places its sale items on ground floor to increase turnover. No, at SH, you give every piece you pick to the salesperson. This feels very personalized. And Nouha - she's good. Lethal on your wallets good. Either way, I left a happy camper with lovely finds. It's definitely more conservative classy but perfect for work or more dressy events. We purchased a number of items in store because the quality, fit, and winter/new year prices were good. There is a NYC and an online presence for this retailer so do check out their catalog. I personally like the fit of their coats, scarves, and dresses. Many pieces say dry clean but I typically cold machine wash and flat line dry with no issues. The fit is slim so allow yourself room or double-check measurements.

Both were branded and didn't have the funny tag in it, but the garments with the changed out tag were of the same high quality as the garments with the regular tags. Good for basics and there were tons of suits, dresses, and blouses. Great find! Also, the VAT process was pretty easy and they use the usual Global Blue service.
