Anyone one doing a remodel should know the unforeseen extras are going to happen this one was no different. while I was on vacation the need to bring in a electrician to relocate some unseen wiring once the walls and ceilings was removed came up Ryan reached out let me know got the work completed so as not to delay the project and only charged me what he was charged! Most would have added mark-up and overhead but in Ryan's words that would not have been fare! I could write so much more about how great RT&S but let me just say this bathroom remodel was the first in a long list of home improvements we have planed and I am not even going to look and any other contractors!!! They where just that good. They have my highest recommendation use them you will not be sorry.

I did not have a great experience with Southern Sky Painting. Bob makes it sound like they do…read more"meticulous" work, but they don't. Also added on extra charges at the end ($900), even after clarifying everything before the work was performed. Overall, work was decent, but I can't recommend based on character and price gouging at the end. They painted the entire interior and exterior of the house. I have painted professionally, and I worked along-side the crew part of the time and was able to point out many other things along the way, that probably wouldn't have been done if I wasn't there. Here is a list of issues we had: Exterior: Did not properly scrape loose paint and fill cracks (partially fixed) Missed painting a board on soffit Painted gate wrong color (did fix) Had to go back and re-roll because of lines (did fix) Overspray in a few areas Sand painted into the front door Paint drips around the house Interior: Overspray onto floors and cabinets Paint drips on floor throughout Missed entire sections of wall Did not paint ceiling in 2 closets (was on contract) Did not perform work that he verbally agreed to but didn't want to write into the contract Paint on door handles and outlets Biggest issue was add-on prices and failure to stick with their word. Then, when the job was "done" would not respond to phone calls. Except for billing, when he tried twist contract wording to justify huge add on costs. I can't work with or recommend people like that.

Jeff, the general contractor, ensured all jobs were completed with quality material and skilled workmanship. I was so impressed with how everything flowed from Demo Day 1, to ordering materials, to coordinating painters/plumbers/electricians/carpenters/etc. to the final days of completion. They gave me no issue when I changed my mind on things (had them re-do living room paint bc I didn't like my 1st choice, had them exchange bathroom mirrors bc I didn't like my 1st choice, changed my mind how I wanted the kitchen island and they ended up just giving me the shiplap for it etc.).
