We came from out of town and this store was recommended by a relative. We spent over $400 on shoes…read moreand shirts and are happy with our purchases. Unfortunately, we will never go back due to the unnecessary rudeness we encountered at checkout. Great: Caitlin's service, along with most we encountered while shopping, was extraordinary. My wife shopped for shoes while I ran an errand. She may well have been the only customer when she arrived. Caitlin took her time helping with different shoes and sizes. My wife ended up buying two pairs. The experience could not have been better. Then my sister and I arrived and picked out some shirts. My wife went to the check out and the first cashier was kind and respectful, no problem. Then my wife realized I had the credit card so she came to me where we were looking at some funny shirts, and we distracted her and kept her from returning immediately to the checkout. Horrible, when she went back to the checkout, the cashier had been replaced by what appeared to be a manager. After my wife tapped the credit card, the new cashier snatched the receipt and hurled it at my wife sending a clear message she wanted her gone and quickly. Startled at the sudden coldness, my wife then noticed there were two men several feet away that appeared to be waiting in line. My wife apologized to them and to the cashier that she didn't notice anyone was waiting and she assumed the woman standing at the other cash register was also open. She had no idea she might be delaying anyone. The manager/cashier ignored my wife's apology and reached for the next customer's items. At this point, it was clear that my wife had made a mistake coming to get the credit card and the "manager" had cleared the area of all of the nice employees to "rectify" the situation and demonstrate how to treat a customer who has taken too much of her precious time. There was no reason to put my wife in this position when there were three other employees standing in the checkout area, all of whom appeared physically capable of working g in retail sales.. Why didn't the original cashier or the "manager" cancel the transaction when we delayed my wife's return to the register? Why didn't they just get our attention to let us know someone else was waiting? Why wasn't the other register being used by the woman standing next to it? We will not go back. Clearly we are not welcome.

When I made the purchase, I was immediately contacted by a representative to ask if non-original packaging was okay. He seemed grumpy and made me feel insignificant. Definitely not the great customer experience that always brings me back. :( Ed having a bad day I guess.
