After prescribing me without informed consent their risky and mind-altering meds, including SSRIs, antidepressants and benzodiazepines, I suffered dangerous involuntary intoxication whereby I developed insomnia, akathisia and metabolic damage. I was tricked by these reckless and corrupt psychiatrists and addicted to these substances without even knowing it. These drugs come with a high risk of inducing suicidal and homicidal thoughts and actions. I have come to learn these poisons are outlawed on most of Europe and not even allowed to be advertised to the public like is done here to enrich the corrupt big pharma industry. They are implicated in almost ALL the mass shootings like recently happened in MN and even Sandy Hook. Today I am weaned off of all these poisons and my experience should serve as a warning to stay as far away from this dangerous place and their so called "professionals" That is the end of my stint with psychiatry and I for sure learned these lessons the hard way.

I had to reschedule my appointment. I was told then that this will happen the next time I come in if I continue seeing Dr. Harvan. I now see Dr. David. The reason why I did not give this office a 1 star is because of the front desk staff. They we polite, and was able to change my appointment without problem or fuss. Also, Dr. David was understanding to my situation.

She claimed not to see the swelling and brusing that was very noticeable (which i also have proof of, i just can'tpost them here). She then aggressively pressed her 4 fingers into my shoulder, claiming not to see or feel any swelling. This pic was taken immediately after coming home from the ER. It gets worse. I called the patient care team 3 slweeks ago, left a voice mail about my experiences, and haven't received a call back to date. Not only was I treated like I was lying about my injuries, but my ER read that I came to the ER with shoulder pain. No brusing or swelling was noted on my discharge papers. Improper documentation can absolutely hurt or compromise injury cases! Any inaccuracies or omissions can undermind my credibility. I am happy that I took pics the same day inside as well as outside the ER, which is something that I shouldn't have had to do. This needs to stop! Pain has no color, nor does injuries. Treat US ALL THE SAME... As HUMAN beings!

That means the hospital isn't the only bill you will receive. I've received 3 bills from separate entities from my hospital visit. Right when I think I've paid one, another comes for me. I'll never return again. Go to urgent care or Northwestern Medical Hospital.

I took some time to process my experience and after reading similar reviews feel the need to post…read moremy own. Recently at my annual appointment I was waiting to use the restroom which faces the support staff cubicles. The wait was rather long as there is only one restroom. I had the "privilege" of overhearing how they feel about their clients. "Oh, I hate the perimenopause ones- IM FAT AND HAVE SYMPTOMS BUT I DONT WANT TO GO ON MEDICATION AND GAIN MORE WEIGHT". "THE NEWBIE GYNES ARE SO CUTE WITH THEIR STIs." I was stunned. I went to the restroom, came out, and Dr. Plawyer's nurse was waiting for me. I told her of the incident and she said "I'm sorry to hear that" and then went over my med list and medical history while I'm on the verge of tears. I finally stood up and said "I'm leaving." I did receive a voicemail apologizing and saying it was addressed. However, as a nurse for the past 10 years I understand on a deeper level that the comfort they felt talking about patients at work indicates a culture of not respecting their patients. When we go to the doc we want to feel heard, be taken seriously, and be met with empathy and assistance. I no longer believe this happens at this clinic. Find a clinic that doesn't mock their patients.

If you call the corporate office number, if you can even find it, they can't help you because they are a different office. Midwest Center means nothing other than a common name, like going to a Shell gas station, one has nothing to do with another. Took me multiple requests, over a period of more than 3 years to get my medical records transferred to my new doctor, which were finally transferred as of this year, 2025. Good Lord. What a frickin joke. Please, please, don't waste your time there. See previous review by me if you want the full story.

I received a text the day before from the office. I called to remind them that when I booked the appointment I had made it known that I didn't want to be texted so they texted me again. I showed up for my appointment and wanted to make sure that it would not happen again and the woman behind the desk was rude to me and only cared about getting my insurance card and driver's license. I did not want to proceed without first straightening out the texting issue and other privacy concerns. I had brought a list of 5 concerns about privacy to go over with the doctor first and this pissed her off even more. Then she wanted my insurance card and driver's license. I had a really bad feeling at this point and let her know I was not comfortable with the way things were going and I was leaving and not coming back and left. As I was driving home Dr. Edelstein called me to tell me off and to tell me to find another doctor. He was not smart enough to understand that when I said I was leaving and not coming back that I had already permanently ended things with his office. A little advice for the Doctor and his office - treat the person who is paying you with respect and put up with things like a no texting rule or plan to go out of business.

This review is for the GI Lab at Evanston Northwestern back in May 2017. I was scheduled for a…read moreroutine colonoscopy and was freaked the hell out about being ass invaded as that was uncharted territory. I had heard horror stories from others who had the procedure, and while necessary, it sounded painful and very much like you knew someone had been up there. I arrived at the lab and the nurse who checked me in was very nice. Not sure if she could see the fear in my eyes, but she was very lovely in getting my vitals and making small talk to calm me down. Once I got into the room to change, that is when the magic happened. I am going to say that for a procedure like this and me being terrified, Dr. Michael Goldberg and his team did an excellent job on executing this procedure. He and his team were very polite and courtesy, explaining the process without talking down to me. Once I woke up in recovery, there was follow up to see how I was doing. I am happy to say that I don't remember anything once the drugs were administered other than counting back from 100 and waking up in recovery. There was no indication that I had been ass invaded...no feeling whatsoever. Going to say that the most painful part of the whole experience was drinking the crap to prepare the colon for the process...it is supposed to be lemon line, but it had an after taste like weak powdered milk that made me want to puke. About a week or so after the procedure, Dr. Michael Goldberg and his team sent me a best wishes card that they all signed. That was totally unexpected and a very nice touch. If you have Blue Cross/Blue Shield and need a colonoscopy, get thee to Evanston Northwestern and Dr. Michael Goldberg and his team. First rate treatment all the way.
