This beautiful, old school café seems to have been intended to cash in on Julio Cortázar's name. It has a number of pictures of him on the walls, as well as framed renderings of some of his well-known quotes. A number of randomly chosen items on the menu were named for Cortázar as well, but that's as far as it goes - this place completely fails to be a literary themed bar.
To be fair, the service staff is nice enough, though we found the wait for snacks and drinks to be quite long given the relative emptiness when we were there. The prices are acceptable as well.
That said, with a name like Cafe Cortazar, this place should do more toward paying homage to a well-respected literary figure, rather than just displaying decorative items "inspired" by the great man.
