I experienced a bait and switch situation yesterday at this location. I called ahead to inquire about the price. The woman I spoke to said it would cost $49.95 and she would text me a $25 coupon which she did do. When I arrived, I was told by the technician that the actual cost would be $120. When I questioned why it was more than what I was quoted he said they should not have said that since they didn't know what kind of car I have (nothing exotic - a ford escape). I pulled in and asked for an oil change. My vehicle is a 2004 so I was obviously trying to be sold on the high mileage oil change. I said no thank you- ILL TAKE A REGULAR OIL CHANGE. Ok, off they went. I said please don't fill my coolant I only use Rain-X. Well, they had already filled it before I had even decided what oil change I wanted. I didn't even have time to tell them NOT to fill it. It ruined the rain-x I had in their and they did not offer to drain and refill my fluid for me. They finished the oil change and I left. After leaving I looked at my receipt and noticed the price of the oil change was more than what I had asked for. They bumped me up from the regular $37 conventional oil change to the $42 GTX change without asking. When I called to ask about it he said the GTX is what he considers his regular oil change and I was misunderstood but if I wanted to drive back I could get refunded the few extra dollars. This Take 5 has given me the most hassle-free service for an oil change. I will absolutely be returning for future oil changes. I am a person that is notoriously frightened by car maintenance. It can be costly and I dislike being upsold on things I don't need. But I came here and had a no-hassle oil change that cost me about $45. I pulled in around 6:15 on a Friday and was quickly greeted and given some water for my wait. When it was my turn to pull up, I was again greeted by Devin, who was friendly and professional. She walked me through what was happening. She did ask if I needed new wipers or had any other needs, but she was not pushy whatsoever which I always greatly appreciate. Such a great experience here this morning. I'll echo what Dom said in his review - great service, fast, friendly, knowledgeable! Coming around 10am on a Saturday, I had no wait, pulled right in for my oil change. They were super speedy and explained everything. Gave me a cold bottle of water while I waited, cleaned my windshield, and topped off my windshield wiper fluid. Made sure that my "oil change" light that had come on was successfully off now. Gave me a coupon for $15 off next oil change, but I would have come back next time without it. Honks for great service! (They have a sign as you leave that says "Honk if you had great service!" I've had nothing but good experiences here. I've previously been a customer of Valvoline, but switched to Take 5 when I needed to get an e-check and combined my visit with a Take 5 oil change. I sometimes feel a little uncomfortable when doing any sort of maintenance on my car. Take 5 was great because they made me feel comfortable. They explained everything and didn't try to pressure me too much into additional services. They also bring you a water bottle and really make you feel like you're just taking a break while they happen to be working on your car. I never thought I'd saying getting an oil change was fun, but Take 5 Oil Change already has me excited for my next visit. Taking time out of your day for an oil change is not necessary if you go here. My five minute experience was a nice break. While they men checked my car, I waited with the water and fruit snacks they gave me. The workers were so respectful and thorough. They recommend that I have a filter changed, but did not push their services. Once they were finished, the manager checked in with me to make sure I was satisfied. Beware of any of these places. They completely drained my transmission fluid (instead of engine oil) then topped off my engine oil without draining any of the existing oil at all. Having twice the capacity of engine oil can damage engine seals, gaskets, and valves. Worse yet, my transmission is compromised as a result and is at the dealer being assessed for damage. read more

Went in for an oil change there for the first time. Had a coupon and presented it. Got a brief and confusing explanation of the products. Ended up with conventional oil in my vehicle, a 2013 Honda Accord which uses synthetic oil which I knew and is clearly labeled on the oil cap. My husband noticed the mistake and called about it. I returned and was treated in a very rude manner by the person on duty ( a different person than who did the service 2 days earlier). He acted as if I was some dumb broad and it was my fault there was a mistake. I left due to his rude and unprofessional behavior and will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. read more

As soon as I pulled in, they gave me a bottled water and started their process which was extremely efficient. Additionally they offered a few different levels of service. I chose the one I wanted and there was no pressure. They actually offered me a deal on the high mileage service and I took it. They were super friendly and knowledgeable.
