Do not go to this car wash, I have been a member of the wash club, it was much better last year but al 4 of these team members just sit in front don't do anything most of the vacuums don't work they need to unstoppable them, I asked one to wash the mud off my mats the guy stated the pressure washer is not working, but they are spraying windows going thru the wash, get rid of the lazy employees, I will be canceling my membership today, this has been the third time nothing works and no air fresheners last time I came they said they didn't have any because they were rebranding, lies they are still the same, so good bye.. heck I can pay the same at Columbia car wash, and there stuff works. read more

Bad sales tactics and deceitful computer system. They have a guy standing at the computer to pressure you into getting the monthly subscription and when you get to the screen, they have 20+ buttons to attempt to confuse you into picking the more expensive wash. I will not return and suggest the wash on Port Royal, as they do not pressure you and the choices are straightforward. Zero stars, if only that was an option. read more

The pace is just OK. The vacuums don't work 1/2 the time. BUT it's only $16 a month, and they have locations all over the place that you can use, so it'll STILL BETTER than the new wash across the street that changes WAY MORE, and only has 2 locations! read more

Stopped in Sunday December 1, 2024 for a car wash. As I was deciding which wash I wanted a girl came running over and 'assisted' me. After going thru the wash I noticed brown fluid on my right wheels, it looked like oil and smelled like hydraulic fluid. I still had bird droppings on the hood. It was not a very good wash. Car wash is adequate, just DO NOT give them your credit card number. I signed up for a montly plan, was told I could "cancel anytime". Well, when I went to cancel it, their website would not take my information and kept saying that I did not have an account. I have used the same e-mail address and phone number for 20 years, so I know my information is correct. Their "help screen" goes to a 404 Error message and you cannot get anyone on the phone to help. after 3 days and countless hours trying to resolve this issue, I finally got someone on the phone that said they would cancel the account and e-mail me a confirmation. That never happened, after several more attempt to reach them I had to call my credit card company and have a fraud alert placed for Take 5. You pay for wheel clean n shine and it rarely works. This has happened to me here several times. Of course, no money back, just some lame excuse the equipment is down. THEN DON'T CHARGE CUSTOMERS FOR SOMETHING YOU DON'T DELIVER. Instead, they give me a little complimentary pad so I can get on my hands and knees and do what I already paid them to do. Recent trip through tore off the entire rear wiper mechanism and left water in my taillight. Repairs are going to be about $1000, and I have emailed through the website, called, and tweeted with zero response from the company. Ever since Take 5 bought this car wash from Sudsy's, the place has gone downhill. The only reason I give it 2 stars instead of 1 is because their pricing did not go up. So, at least the price is still quite affordable for a monthly unlimited car wash plan. However, once I find a replacement, I will be canceling my membership. Here are the problems I have experienced since the new ownership took over this facility: 1. They took out the pre-wash station and replaced it with just a few buckets and brushes. 2. They took out the glass cleaner that was built in to the hoses at the vacuum stations, which was a very nice feature when it was Sudsy's. 3. They no longer spray the bug cleaner pre-wash on your car anymore before you go in to help remove the insects. Instead, they do a quick half-ass brush over the grill and windshield, and never even fully cover the front of my truck. I usually leave the car wash with bugs still stuck on the grill and windshield. 4. Half the time, the vacuum I pull up to is completely clogged or just has no suction whatsoever. (This only occasionally happened when it was Sudsy's). 5. I accidentally left a couple of floor mats there one day, and when I went back a couple of days later and asked if they had a lost and found, they told me, "No, we probably threw them away if they were left here when we closed that day." What the hell?! 6. Overall, the customer service has been less than impressive. It just seems that the entire quality of the wash has gone down as well since Take 5 bought it from Sudsy's. When it first opened in Columbia as Sudsy's, it was the best car wash I'd ever used. Now, I'm only a customer due to lack of a better option - until I find one. read more

The tire shine went all over the side of my car. Noticed it a few days later and went back to run through the wash again. Didn't have my receipt but they "let" me go through again to get the oily spots off my already clean car after a little reprimand about the receipt. Second pass through did nothing. Had to hand clean it. Will not go back there. read more

Worst car wash in Columbia. Went this morning and bought the $21.00 wash. It includes wash wax and wheel service. The wheel service is an additional $6.00. After the wash I saw nothing had been done to wheels and tires were the same as when I went in. I went in office and ask young man why no wheel service, he didn't know. I said so the charge for wheels is for nothing, he says I guess so. I said is there a number so I can ask the manager about it, he says we don't have a manager. Terrible service, terrible attitudes.
