Our cocktails were a lot of fun. I discovered here the Don Papa rum, which is from my home country of the Philippines, where I didn't even know they made rum. It was sweet and smooth; I wish I could remember which house cocktail I had them sub it in for. I do think the dal makhani could have done with several more hours of simmering, but most restaurants do a quick cook on this favorite lentil dish of mine. Like a lot of Munich, Madam Chutney is dog-friendly. My friend's 70-pound dog, Lola, made us a whole table of friends! I was stunned the wait staff was tolerant of it.

Tonight was my last time that I will go there as I feel the food was extremely subpar. I ordered a lamb pallak, which had zero taste. And when I mean zero taste, it was so bland that I had to put a ton of salt on the food to make it taste palatable. I don't think that the crook ever tried the food that he was serving before he put it out. That being said, and unfortunately, I will no longer go there as a paying customer.
