I needed to board 1 dog for 8 hours on August 1st, and he has no special needs, and has been there before. I put down a 25.00 deposit. I really cannot afford to do this, and on 7-19 (11 days notice) called to cancel and requested a return of the deposit. Apparently it is in the fine print that if you cancel, even with 11 days notice, they give you a credit. You can cancel any physician appointment with 24 hours notice, or less. I explained the reason: financial. This makes me feel ill: I cant afford it. They didnt care, and kept my money. You shouldnt have to be rich to board an uncomplicated pet for 8 hours. This is shameful, at the very least. This is an addition, after my review went live: the refusal to return by deposit with 11 days notice and making it a store credit was NOT explained when I made the reservation over the phone. They are very expensive and in my experience there are hidden fees, despite the answer from the owner. To the owner: trust me, I am sorry as well.

Patrick was very kind on the phone and asked if I could be there in 45mins. DONE! Dr. Kate Schoemann examined Pupper and without any x-rays she diagnosed Pupper with a blown knee and a torn meniscus. She explained the surgery process and the potential cost. I asked for some time to weigh things out. She sent Pupper home on pain meds; I did some research and decided against surgery due to the high cost. I tried reaching out via phone to Dr. Schoemann to discuss the pros / cons of a leg brace; I called 4 times between 05/26/26 - 06/05/26 with a stop into the hospital. There was a nice lady working the desk who scheduled a "Phone appt " with Dr. Schoemann to call me 06/03/26 at 2:40p; this call never took place. I am very disappointed for the lack of help I have received in the care of my dog plus pro-longing the potential of him utilizing a brace to assist in his walking. Do Better! My dog is my family; my best friend and I want him to have the best care.

With his breed and temperament sometimes a lot of business don't accept him. I love Kennel Crest because they provide him his own kennel with is own run. They get let out one at a time where they can play by themselves but still see other dogs but not be let out with other dogs. This way I don't have to worry about getting puppies or fights. And the staff is truly amazing. They are very professional, helpful, and so kind. With having a Rottweiler they can often be intimidating but these staff get to know the dogs and create bonds and relationships. My dog is no longer afraid to go, he gets excited when he's the staff and they're excited to see him. I would 100% recommend this place if your dog is not the group boarding type and you need a secure and safe place to leave your fur babies.

At Kennel Crest my dog gets her own run with half of the run being inside and the other half being outside. There is a doggie door connecting the two sides so my dog can choose whether she wants to be inside or outside. The inside half is air conditioned/heated. The lower half of the run wall is concrete and the upper half is chain link fencing. They take my dog out of her kennel run twice a day and place her in a fenced-in area outside (by herself, not with other dogs, which is important to me) and clean her kennel twice a day. The first time I boarded my dog I asked staff to place her in a kennel at the far end, against the wall, so it would minimize her interaction with other dogs. (I didn't want her to frighten other dogs and stress them out) The staff were more than happy to accommodate my request and must have written a note in my account because the second time I boarded her they already had the same kennel set up for her and knew I was going to request the last kennel. I appreciate that they let me walk my dog to her kennel so I can see exactly where she will be at. They fed her twice a day, at my request, and gave her a chew bone every day like I requested. My dog completely destroyed her bed I brought so the staff set it aside in case I wanted to keep it, which I thought was a nice gesture. They gave her blankets to sleep on instead. I also expected my dog to be a little dirty from spending a week in a kennel but she actually looked cleaner when I picked her up. My husband even asked if they gave her a bath. I don't think they did but if they did that's great! My dog seems happy when I pick her up from Kennel Crest which in turn makes me happy!!! I would highly recommend.

Not a single one would be able to take me until I reached Mandy! She happily said "I can get you in around 10!" I was ecstatic, not only was it that day, but also, I only had to wait 45 min to take him! I zipped up there & got him taken back while I filled out his paperwork. I dropped him off & got called back around 1:43, in the meantime my lack of wanting to eat due to a huge migraine had caught up with me. I was feeling so weak I could barely go in, before I could even call & meekly ask if he could be brought out to me; she was already taking him to pee before I even noticed them in front of me! I told her I didn't feel well & she let me send my card back in with her so I didn't even have to go inside Granted i know my boy is a rough one to groom as he's not cooperative, but the only thing I could suggest is a slightly more through job done, his neck under his chin was super full of shedding fur that's too thick for me to hand pick out. I lost my furminator in the move back to Kansas ! I would love for a "super shedder" add-on service to purchase just so he can be brushed out for more length of time! He started throwing up after eating and they called me and the emergency number I left. When I brought him in to the vet another occasion the techs and assistants remembered him (who aren't part of boarding) he got lots of pets and love. The vet herself was extremely patient and kind and dumbed down things for me. *MAINLY* my boy is reactive and they made sure that he wouldn't have to be in the lobby with other animals.
