This whole ordeal has been a huge frustration and cost a lot of money. When we called, we explained that we were making our reservation explicitly because he had fleas. They never told us there would be an additional $20 charge. Then, on the day of pickup, we called early asking if we might be able to pick him up at 11 am instead of 8. They said that would be fine. What they should have said was, "No problem, but just so you know, there will be an additional $60 charge to pick up after 10 am. Is that OK?" It wasn't okay. But they didn't communicate that. We would have picked him up before 10 of we knew that. Yes, we understand that there are costs associated with running a business. We run our own business. But it's not reasonable to put everything in the terms and conditions and not verbally communicate important details to your customers. It was probably just an oversight, but this experience just made our bad situation worse. We still have to board him again to treat the house a second time, and will not be going here.

I am so pleased I came to this vet with my cats. I had previously had a horrible experience with a…read morevet (unfriendly service, inexperienced treatment of my cats, and two surgeries that both resulted in awful complications) and was wary of what sort of service I would receive, but I was blown away by the helpfulness and kindness of the people working at Clinton Parkway. It was clear in the way they handled my cats that everyone there loves animals and is devoted to ensuring their health and well-being. One of the cats I brought in was a little overweight for his shape, and I completely expected to be admonished for not keeping him as slim as he should be. However, the vet was nothing but kind---she gently informed me that he was slightly overweight and that I would be advised to change up his diet. Clearly, their goal is nothing but happiness for the pets that come in and out, and I was awed by them. It's also worth noting that most vets I've been to are pretty sterile, uncomfortable places, but Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital is a fun, colorful environment. There are even some "office cats" that roam around that make the experience truly enjoyable!

With his breed and temperament sometimes a lot of business don't accept him. I love Kennel Crest because they provide him his own kennel with is own run. They get let out one at a time where they can play by themselves but still see other dogs but not be let out with other dogs. This way I don't have to worry about getting puppies or fights. And the staff is truly amazing. They are very professional, helpful, and so kind. With having a Rottweiler they can often be intimidating but these staff get to know the dogs and create bonds and relationships. My dog is no longer afraid to go, he gets excited when he's the staff and they're excited to see him. I would 100% recommend this place if your dog is not the group boarding type and you need a secure and safe place to leave your fur babies.

At Kennel Crest my dog gets her own run with half of the run being inside and the other half being outside. There is a doggie door connecting the two sides so my dog can choose whether she wants to be inside or outside. The inside half is air conditioned/heated. The lower half of the run wall is concrete and the upper half is chain link fencing. They take my dog out of her kennel run twice a day and place her in a fenced-in area outside (by herself, not with other dogs, which is important to me) and clean her kennel twice a day. The first time I boarded my dog I asked staff to place her in a kennel at the far end, against the wall, so it would minimize her interaction with other dogs. (I didn't want her to frighten other dogs and stress them out) The staff were more than happy to accommodate my request and must have written a note in my account because the second time I boarded her they already had the same kennel set up for her and knew I was going to request the last kennel. I appreciate that they let me walk my dog to her kennel so I can see exactly where she will be at. They fed her twice a day, at my request, and gave her a chew bone every day like I requested. My dog completely destroyed her bed I brought so the staff set it aside in case I wanted to keep it, which I thought was a nice gesture. They gave her blankets to sleep on instead. I also expected my dog to be a little dirty from spending a week in a kennel but she actually looked cleaner when I picked her up. My husband even asked if they gave her a bath. I don't think they did but if they did that's great! My dog seems happy when I pick her up from Kennel Crest which in turn makes me happy!!! I would highly recommend.

I'm glad I didn't read prior & let any of the horrible reviews here sway me!…read more I have had a hard time trying to find a groomer for my pup! Normally (when i was living CA) would take him to his vet but his here & none of them in town do grooming anymore! Friday, I got a last minute Saturday appt with *yughck* PetSmart (absolutely hate big chains would much rather use a small business) only for them to call me an hour before my 9:30AM appt to say that groomer isn't coming in & they were full for everyone else smh. I was disappointed I really need my pup groomed, he's blowing his summer coat something awful! So I called around to literally every groomer on Yelp & Google search. Not a single one would be able to take me until I reached Mandy! She happily said "I can get you in around 10!" I was ecstatic, not only was it that day, but also, I only had to wait 45 min to take him! I zipped up there & got him taken back while I filled out his paperwork. I dropped him off & got called back around 1:43, in the meantime my lack of wanting to eat due to a huge migraine had caught up with me. I was feeling so weak I could barely go in, before I could even call & meekly ask if he could be brought out to me; she was already taking him to pee before I even noticed them in front of me! I told her I didn't feel well & she let me send my card back in with her so I didn't even have to go inside Granted i know my boy is a rough one to groom as he's not cooperative, but the only thing I could suggest is a slightly more through job done, his neck under his chin was super full of shedding fur that's too thick for me to hand pick out. I lost my furminator in the move back to Kansas ! I would love for a "super shedder" add-on service to purchase just so he can be brushed out for more length of time! Otherwise, EXTREMELY happy they were able to squeeze me in! I wish I had taken before & after pictures but like I said was not feeling up to par at all that day Thank you Mandy!!!!
