I regularly supply my own parts because the car is no longer manufactured and the parts are hard to source at reasonable prices. They have always accepted this and we have good customer relations. The charges are reasonable and they have always made me aware of what needs to be done before proceeding. I don't think they replace parts unnecessarily. I have had several cars of different makes and models serviced and been entirely satisfied with their work. I know they are constantly busy and can only ascribe that to their loyal customer base. I would recommend them.

On the actual day I turned up and gave him my keys, where he then said "I quoted you about £150?" Seeing as I live nowhere near, I needed my car fixing that day and I had to bite my tongue and just accept they £150 charge. Won't be using them again

After the imminent failure became apparent we took a quick trip to Kwik Fit to get everything ship shape then back to Mr MOT for our free (within 10 days of first MOT) second MOT. Back on the road.

This garage is awful.... I phoned the garage for a quote for some work on an MOT failure and they…read moreestimated approx £160 to fix but with some uncertainty with a certain issue. When I took it to the garage I was then quoted by a 2nd person at approx £250 at least without fully knowing what the problem with the issue was, clearly a lack of communication here or a chance to rip me off ! I then suggested that they focus on the issue that they didn't know about and let me know a firm price for the works.... They didn't do this for free, knowing they may get some work out of me they charged me £30 just to look at it so I had some thoughts that this garage is certainly taking me for a ride... After agreeing yes I would like a firm price and to know fully what the issue is I left this with the garage. After having a look I received a phone call to say that my cylinder was leaking and this needed to be replaced plus replacement of the other parallel wheel. They then totalled the amount with this added work at £450 300 quid more than the original quotation... With shock I put the phone down and said I will pick the car up ASAP, this was clearly a rip off !! To prove a point and my incline that the garage was taking me for a ride I then went to another garage to quote..... This garage quoted me £180, parts, labour everything included ! I found out later that the only thing to do with this supposed leak was to adjust my brake shoes/pads so it stops leaking... I know have a full MOT !!! This is £270 difference and the garage was prepared to rip a customer off that much. I want to make customers aware this garage is an absolute rip off and they should not go there !! Awful, awful customer service and clearly out to take people for a ride, they have lost a good customer being in the motor trade myself buying me selling cars !!!

Within a very short time Paul identified the problem, not always easy with electrical issues, and had the motor running. Paul then went above and beyond any ordinary service and identified what part I needed and a place to source it!!! Fabulous job. So the scene in I pull up behind an old vw camper that had ran out of fuel and as I was refueling the driver of the camper started up her vw after she had filled the tank and with excessive revving my 11 month old baby stired quite abit so like any father would as I went to pay I politely asked if the driver of the camper would not rev the camper excessively again upon leaving (which she did purposely), however it was the lee hire drivers response of "oh dont be so pathetic" which really shocked me so there was a little back and forth nothing too bad but pretty disrespectful on this gentleman's part. So after paying for my Fuel I ask this driver his name so I can contact lee hire as this person representing the company is probably not what they want to then get the response of "i dont care I'm retiring anyway" then came the "oh fuck off" which usually wouldn't bother me but when my 3 year old son is in my arms its a massive no no, so now I have a source taste in my mouth from a driver that was just point blank rude and disrespectful I also have a toddler that now repeats "fuck off" nice one Lee Hire LTD
